207 Engine Codes - Differences..?

Unread post by RussellF97 »

My brother needs a new engine for his 2010 207SW 1.6 Hdi 90.
His garage is looking for a replacement but hasn’t yet found one with the same engine code which is DV6ATED4, the code from the vin is 9HX and the variant/version is WE9HXC.

The sticker on his engine is:
DV6ATED4 E4BVM
10JBBX312034D
and the engine number from the V5 is JBBX3120340.

The garage have found engines with the codes DV6TTED4 or DV6DTED; does anyone know what the differences might be? Might they need the corresponding ECU..?

Any assistance will be much appreciated. - And if anyone knows of a suitable engine......

There are power differences and legislative differences. But the DV6D* engine is an 8V engine.

Thanks Marc. I think we can safely ignore the 8V then...
