Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

After a few weeks after having a new battery fitted i am getting the battery symbol and the stop sign on the dashboard maybe once a week or several time in a five minute journey had the AA back out and they have checked the charging all seems okay garage has check for error code and nothing came up anyone had a anything similar

It doesn't matter whether your car has stop start or not, you need to stick to Peugeot's specifications as an absolute minimum. Forget Stop Start, just get at least an EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) of the correct specifications I've provided. These batteries are fitted on cars with and without Stop Start and is just later battery technology.

I want to change the oil at my EAT6. I went to the servicebox, typed my VIN, and the only thing written regarding oil is JWS 3324 specification.

I asked the dealer for the price, and I was shocked, they told me 130€ for 2 liters.

Hello, in my Peugeot 5008 from 2014, I get a red warning light on, when a door is open.
When I drive about 5/10km/h there’s a graphic warning in my navigation screen. There it shows which door is open

Also wiggle the accelerator lever on the top of the pump to see if you can 'adjust' the revs. The top cover ovals and allows air in and / or diesel out. What are the revs when warm, should be around 850 rpm. They may be too low and the anti-stall is taking over.

Afternoon

After cleaning my EGR valve due to a fault in lexia (cleaning did not solve) I put the fuel lines back together. The car wouldn't start.
I disconnected this line and the vehicle starts and runs fine.

First, what would cause this?
And second, can I run the vehicle long term without it?

Assume it's a 16v - there should be a hand bulb in the centre of the engine in front of the air box. Just keep pumping till it stops bubbling in the tank. If it doesn't work then you will need to rig up an external pump somewhere to suck it through.

my 207 1.6 HDi has a loose Air Doser, its the big type with 4 pipes off it, I cant see an obvious way of how it fixes on, its rattling and therefore quite annoying

will it become easy to see how it mounts if I just remove the pipes and lift it off the car?

Right then just when I thought I had finished all my jobs I started the car with the bonnet open and a puff of exhaust fumes from the front of the engine.

Appears to be from under the turbo heatshield at the turbo to dpf joint and after some research It seems dpf needs lifting and holding in place to properly engage before tightening.

There is also the correct dual bleeding procedure that has to be done with diagnostic tools to ensure both the primary and secondary circuits are bled correctly. I have had the above problem for some time. A fault code search showed C1326 rear LH speed sensor signal fault. I changed the sensor, which had worn badly but the fault persisted. When I took the disc off the magnetic ring was badly damaged so I cleaned the sensior mount and replaced the ring. The fault persists. The warning comes on on...

In addition to cleaning the connector by the wheel, I guess I'll need to check continuity with the ABS controller. Are the wires visible under the car or do they run inside? I am keen to avoid having to take the bumper off to get at the wires...

I am going to add a cruise stalk to my daughters 2007 207 Sport. I have popped of the trim and the connector on the column has 8 contacts. Does this mean I can use a stalk with the memory function or did all the connectors have 8 pins and some were simply not connected on the vehicle? Thanks.

Ive had a few ODB codes randomly come up, trigger the MIL light and suspect there is a common loom plug / connector that is loose or needs a clean (eg the poor contact below gives it away)

Codes are

P0180 Diesel fuel temperature signal fault : Coherence
P0181 Diesel fuel temperature signal fault : Poor contact
P0183 Diesel fuel temperature...

Just on the foglight warning, seems that turning the fog lights on (front and rear) kicks the ECU and it is then happy, at least in my case.

I know that the oils in this gearboxes should last a lifetime.
But I think my car i almost on its second life time 😁

It has traveled 380000km now and lately i sounds like the gears mostly from neutral to first gear clonks a little louder. And the oil and job is not such a stretch either.

Is this a waste of time or should i do it ?

Blind Spot Sensor & Active Saftey Brake Hidden

Hi,
Is there any possibility to hide both features; Active Safety Brake and Blind Spot Sensors of a Peugeot 3008 GT-Line 2018 model.
The mirrors are having Blind spot icons at the edges but they are not working and not showing in the i-cockpit.
Also Active brake is not working.
Under Setting and Tools- System Information - System version is 074C....

Active Safety Brake: Deactivate it from the Touchscreen menu (but you will have to do this every time your start the engine) - after all it's a safety feature.
The same for Blind spot monitoring - these can be deactivated from the touchscreen menu.

As far as I know the blind spot system does not show anything in the i-cockpit - only the diodes in...

Hi all,
I have a 2004 206 with the 2.0 HDI. I'm very interested in fitting cruise control and apparently it's possible to simply fit an OEM cruise stalk and activate it with peugeot planet?

I removed the plastic cover around the steering column (which has a space for a cruise stalk, blanked off) and there's a PCB with connections for the stalk....
