Following on from my post the other day about potential purchase of a Peugeot 3008, the deal is not imminent.
Obviously, as a die-hard Citroen fan, I've read numerous horror stories about C5 X7 steering racks on certain models.
I am therefore wondering if there are any similar horror stories to watch out for on the first facelift Peugeot 3008?
I understand the injectors can be a nightmare and were prone to coming loose because of a bracket issue. How would I be able to tell if those brackets have been changed?
Does the group's service box info contain any useful data about the car or generic issues please?
I've added the VIN for mods to see in anticipation of being able to get some information.

To be honest, as far as engines go, EVERY single different engine will have its own issues, so this is no way to judge a vehicle to be honest, and they do not make this public of course, only that any common issues of significance accumulated from driver feedback and dealer servicing incidents may result in a technical bulletin to assist the dealerships in fault finding common issues.
I can't go into the specifics as the actual TSBs require additional charges to access, but these are the titles for the ones only for the engine:
The DV6C engine is very common and was used over a huge range of PSA vehicles and is available in variations of power output.

That’s really useful. Thanks Marc.
As a matter of interest, how much does access to that info cost? Is it annual or just on a per access basis?

For Peugeot alone it's just over €3k a year or less for timed basis rates.
