Bought a 1998 Saxo for my son last winter to learn to drive in this coming winter with work needed to get it running after a head gasket failure - it was very cheap but 89K and long MOT.
Young son has been super busy under instruction and we have completed the following
stripped head - had it skimmed - new head gasket and replace set tappets etc...

I am able to use Diagbox to Check of the additive pump adding flow which spits out about 10-15ml (it's supposed to spit out 20ml)

Nemo when start seems ok leave it a few seconds will make a couple of knocks/kinda change pitch
Then go to normal and then sound like a bag of spanners for a few secs

Spoke to garage and they are unsure as it seems like if your playing the piano
all notes are the same and then drops 1

This nemo at 50k is costing me a lot in repairs...

A mate's diag kit states Oil Temp Sensor.

It's on the Xantia 110 HDi.
Intermittent fault on water temp sensor where temp shows normal and gauge acts normal but red light in temp gauge sometimes comes on and goes off again.
