[Xsara Picasso] Need help with changing my ICV (stepper motor) on 1.6 8v 95hp motor

Can somebody tell me or give me some service manual instructions for the best and easiest way to change the stepper motor? It's a little on the back side of the intake manifold. Can I just remove the two bolts behind and place the new one without removing anything else? I can't find any youtube clips for it.

P.S. I changed my coil pack, spark plugs and PCV hose and car now runs super smooth and won't engine switching off when stopping. Old spark plugs were wrong type 5EZ instead of 6EZ and the old coil pack had corrosion on the contact springs. Seems it was leaking water and that's why it was worse in wet and damp weather. Now it runs buttery smooth but still have some small vacuum leak and I think it comes from the stepper motor.

Is it this plunger type stepper motor? if so you just unplug it undo the 2 screws & pull it out.
2 important things, never pull or push on the plunger when it is out of the manifold, this can damage it.
And the most important thing when fitting this type of stepper motor is that the housing it sits in needs to be thoroughly cleaned before fitting the new stepper motor, if you fail to do this correctly the new stepper plunger may fail to seat properly or stick, Get some carb cleaner (or similar) onto a rag & twist it in & out till you stop getting black sooty deposits on the rag. In fact if you have not already bought the part its probably worth doing this first as half the time i have found this cures stepper problems, if re fitting the old one carefully clean the tip of the plunger (without twisting it or pushing it in/out) too.
Once you have fitted the new one (or re fitted the original) before you start the engine switch the ignition on & wait 30 seconds, switch it off & wait 30 seconds. repeat this 5 to 6 times, this lets the stepper motor find its stop position.

Thanks, man. I haven't ordered the new motor so I'll try the cleaning method first this weekend.

Actually let me also ask you do you think a small vacuum leak could be at the stepper motor? I hope it's there. I can hear a vacuum leak when I turn the "butterfly" manually. When the revs go down it sucks air somewhere around that area. But I'm not sure. I don't have a smoke machine as of yet, so I thought I'll first change the motor and if the problem stays I'll buy smoke machine.

There is an O ring seal on the stepper motor, this could possibly be leaking.
You could try spraying some brake cleaner on the outside around the area, if there is a leak you would normally hear the revs going up

Do you know if this o-ring comes together with a new motor in the package or should I order it separately? Because on the sites I'm looking of buying one the pictures doesn't show o-ring.
