Hi am new here just at wits end trying to sort car. Engine Repair needed came up on dash, got diagnostic and a P1434 and P0494 came up one said could be a fuse 60A but can not find it any where
car wont go over 3000rpm the radiator fan does not seem to be coming on so have ordered a resistor, not sure if this going to work, love my car but working at it is horrendous as everything so hard to get at, car is C4 Citroen Picasso 2014 1.6 diesel.

when you say under the fuse box i think so far i found 3. 1 at glove compartment and 2 under the bonnet none of them have this fuse the largest i found was a 40amp. do you thin that the cooling resistor might help bit of elimination work at the minute. ok this a long one. fitted resistor and eventually got the main fan to start to work. engine repair fault still up got epg spray and sprayed it into the part where the air pipes go - still the same. took everything off to get the egp valve off which was impossible it would not budge. got cataclean and put it into the fuel tank drove the car for an hour. now i have engine fault symbol up the abs switch wont turn off the hill start assist says fault the tyre pressure says fault and the braking says fault and we did nothing to them. if i start car and sit idle all these faults come up if i start the car and drive immediately only the engine symbol comes up but no beeping faults, car will go over 3000rpm 1st time but then not after that.
