Hello everyone, My Citren C5 X7 2.0 HDI hasn't had any heat for a while now.
The water pump, thermostat, radiator, and heater core have been replaced.
The system has been flushed several times.
The cooling system has been bled through the valves.
I noticed that the pipe going to the new heater core is hot, while the pipe leaving it is cold.
What...

Hi,
My wife has a 2014 Citroen C4 Picasso Airdream Automatic. It’s done about 45,000 miles.
It seems as though the clutch is slipping. I’ve done some research which suggests this auto box is a basically an adapted manual box and this is common.
Questions for you experts…..
1. Is it common at only 45k?
2. Is it worth getting it repaired?
3. Does...

Today I noticed that my AC is not working anymore on my 2015 Citroen C4. 11 months ago I had the AC serviced (vacuum check, AC refilled) and it worked fine throughout the summer. When the AC was refilled, the technician noticed that in 9 years with no service to the AC, there was barely any gas gone (about 75 grams of the 425 total). During that...

Hello all,

First time writing here. My name is Matt and I have a problem with my car. It's a Citroen Xsara 1.6 petrol. 1997. I don't drive this car very often because I have another one much younger. But anyway, here is what happened.

I have started a car. Immediately, it starts to shake when I press the gas pedal, and it also has an unstable...

Hi All

This is my 4th picasso, only recently bought, good condition - starts and works fine, BUT ...

Most times when I start it there is a whizzing noise for about a second as the 'bendix gear' cog retracts from flywheel (assume that's what it is, no noise once started and running).
Is this just a lack of oil on the mechanism or something...

Recently picked up a new Berlingo van (2026 model) and looking to get power to the back for various things like a travel fridge, pressure washer, lighting etc. All 12v.

I'm really struggling to find a way to either get a lead from the battery into the cabin, or locate an empty fuse socket from the fusebox under the dashboard on the passenger...

Hottest day this may coincided with my turbo dying, yay!!
The temperature gauge in car didn't hit higher than normal.

Hi.
Anybody knows where I could order camshaft caps (camshaft bearing cap).

I have Citroen C3 1.2 (81 kwh) 2018.
Engine code: EB2DT, HNZ/HN01

In the image there is a three camshaft cap on the row.

I was trying to work out the locations for a trolly jack lift, but I can't easily find information for locations other than the cills.

This thread seems to suggest that there are no approved locations on/under the chassis? Is this correct?

Any info with images of any other locations for a trolly jack would be...

Hi, have an issue with the clutch pedal on my C4GDP 2.0HDI 2015. Crunchy selecting gear then when managed to get in gear I couldn't then get it out of gear and had to stall the engine. Noticed pedal was not fully returned and had to pull up with my foot. This keeps happening, the pedal was making a creaking noise I noticed all of a sudden a few...

I have positive and negative going to motor, i wanted eliminate the switch how can i do that direct at the connector pls

One fatal problem with Hydractive Electrovalves is corrosion to the base of the alloy valve block that results in an LHM leak. They corrode because they're in contact with the steel sphere base and moisture causes electrolytic corrosion. The corrosion continues until the large hexagon at the base is sufficiently corroded to expose the green...

Hello fellas!

I am building a custom car audio system in my 2008 C5 X7. I installed the JL Audio's e6450 6-channel amplifier in the trunk where that cloth-basket was initially, on the left side. Now it is time to power it. The thickest power cable that fits into amp's socket is 25 mm² - that's what I bought (100% Copper cable, OFC, not CCA). The...

G’Day Folks,
I’m dismantling my 1.6HDI engine and I’m not sure if the studs that are used to hold the injectors down need to come out to remove the cam box.
The Torx ends on the studs are very small. Do the studs go right through to the head and should I remove them using two nuts backed up to each other?
The Haynes manual is not very clear.
Many...

Well..
It was indeed the BPGA unit on my car that had gone uptown and I had to indulge the services of the main dealer and was quoted the obscene price of eleven hundred pounds of the Kings finest.
So here’s my story sad but true as the song goes.

Going back around six weeks I would say ,my car suddenly started bogging and missing if I moved up...

Really appreciate any help with this. I'm trying to find and access the fuse boxes on a new berlingo van but struggling to locate them all. It is a right hand drive van and I can see a few fuses under the dashboard on the passenger (left) side but they are very hard to access. Is there another fuse box in the cabin? I've seen several videos which...

Hi everyone, First post (please be gentle).

I bought a 2005 Citroen C8, just last week. 1 owner, from new. 68,000 miles. Never missed a service, according to the Service Record log book.

I drove half a mile, this morning, to pick up a friend. All OK.

When I restarted the engine, the power steering had stopped working.

I can drive it but...

Hi, everyone,

I have a brand new Citroën C3 Mk4, version Max.

Since I have this car, I think that the software of the dashboard screen have some bugs. For instance, lack of functions that were described in the brochure for this version like the High Beam Assist or the maintenance menu is not translated in my language (is only in English)....

Hi There,

Preamble:
i had overheating when i bought the car last year - the dealer were cowboys and would not give me a full refund so i swallowed it as the small claims court waiting list in their area was 12 months.
Anyway i did a combustion gas test which was fine and then i replaced the Thermostat which sorted out the overheating.

On a...

Hi. I’ve been looking at a roof tent for my c5 tourer 2.0 2011. It has the panoramic glass roof. I see varying discussions regarding using one with the glass. Some say you can some say you can’t. Does anyone have any experience/advice. I don’t have my handbook with me at the moment as car is in dock for failed front shock so I cannot look up the...

Morning all,

Quick description of the lead up to this point:
- Clutch pedal dropped to the floor whilst driving.
- Clutch master cylinder seemed to be at fault. Won't consistently pump a squirt of fluid out at the gearbox end (hard pipe disconnected at slave cylinder end) even with pressure bleeding kit still connected.
- car, recently bought is...

Good afternoon folks, I hope you are all well.

I am looking for part numbers for the front driver side wheel hub carrier and bearing.
I can get the bearing no problem, but I also need a new carrier.

Hello,

I have recently bought a 2009 C5 X7 estate with the 3.0 HDi. Long story short, the car's been off the road since April, 2025. I bought it as a parts car for my other C5 X7 2.0 HDi. The seller insisted the engine is seized and therefore the car is not operational. As soon as the trailer guy got the car back to my place I started looking for...

Hello,

So I've seen the recall campaign. My 2021 1.5BlueHDi SpaceTourer got its camshaft broken in the way described here:
I was wondering if I can do something about it and how ?

My daughters 2016 c4 1.6 hdi and the dpf is cracked and needs to be replaced. So question is for UK owners is it time to have it mapped out and if so for those who have had it done does it pass the mot.

Undecided at the moment but certainly would like dpf issues gone.

Hi,Blower Motor inside car went off.
Turned out wiring at side of heater box melted.
Try this first before you take glove box out etc to get to motor.
If you take passenger side heater box plastic cover off,2 trim clips holding it on,you will see a block connector with red&brown wire just above carpet.
Flick clip out& turn plug round to face you &...

I'd like to get power to the back of my Berlingo van for various things like lighting, coolbox, fans, chargers etc. Once i get power directly from the battery, I'll add a small fuse box somewhere in the van for any outlets I add.

I'm struggling to find a way through the firewall. I've done this before on older vehicles by using existing grommets...

Hello,

Vehicle: Citroen C3 2006 1.4HDi 68hp

I’m dealing with two fault codes: P0692 and P0495.

Symptoms:
The overheat warning light keeps blinking constantly, even with the engine OFF.
Sometimes there’s also a warning beep.
The A/C blows cold air for a few minutes, then switches to ambient/warm air, then back to cold again in a repeating...

Ay up!

Otterchops' dad here.

After changing rear calipers and pressure bleeding all 4 corners, the brake, pedal remains depressingly low and feels a bit spongy.

I plan on Lexia bleeding 1st decent day we get but is there anything else that may be at fault? Bleeding revealed some rather dark fluid in the front brakes with a lot of air in the rear...

Hi all

I've recently picked up a Xsara Picasso on 108k. The car has started jolting for a split second, I'd say 90% of the time this when there's a small incline, but I also get it when driving flat sometimes. It can do this both engine cold and engine warm. Today it did it 5 times within a few minutes, then was fine for 40 minute remainder of...

I have heard this noise, I feel, on several (almost new) hire cars and now it's there most of the time on my Xsara Picasso...

After changing gear, either from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th, I hear a high-pitched noise, not a whistle but more of a grating, whirring (I know, describing sounds).

I attempted to record it but can't capture it with...

Hi, new here, be gentle
On my 2019 Relay 2.2 I keep getting a Warning Triangle on the dashboard
Now....
If I switch off the ignition and wiggle the wire going to the Oil Pressure and Temperature sensor, then switch on the ignition I get the Oil Level with the dots appear and the warning triangle then goes out like normal.
Then after a couple of...

Hi all, I had the aircon checked by a mobile A/C company and right enough the condenser has a big hole in it. After the guy warned about how hard removing the pipes can be I went to have a go ; top pipe came out a treat. Bottom pipe will not, it is seized in there. Also access is not good. My concern is the pipe end breaks off so then the whole...

I own a 2020 2.0HDI blue dispatch and its time to do a service on it, From what I can gather its a DW10FE AHK and the recommended oil is a 0w30, the chart on this site doesn't list 5w30 as an option. But it seems awfully thin to me, I've been using 5w30 in the 1.6 HDI's for years with zero problems, is there any reason to use a 0w30 ahead of a...

quick question does a c5 mk1 have 1 or 2 fans for ac also does the fan come on when ac is working

HI, new to the forum. I’m looking to see if anyone knows an easy way to get the rear window blinds off? I had a look and it looked like you have to strip the window rubber off.

Took my Grand picasso for an air con charge today, as i doesnt work. the system is gassed, and the compressor kicks in and runs! however, the system isnt circulating the gas as required to make the system cool.. ive had a look at the obvious fuses ETC, everything looks to be plugged in correctly and i had it on the snap on reader a couple of weeks...

Hi there,

My Citroen DS3 2014 Auto and has an issue that randomly throws the car in Limp mode at least once every 5-10 miles. The local garage diagnostic(non Lexia) showed U1209 CAN Network communication problem with the Gearbox ECU.

Any help please? I just bought the car 1 month ago, is used car.

From experience, what could it be the issue?;...

Hi everybody!

I have a problem with my car. I received an error code. P0944. I have deleted the error code for two weeks and I tested the mcp6 with diagbox. All test was good so I do not know what the problem is :( I looked at the oil pressure value and it was 40-45 bar. Sometimes it was 50 bar in operating process I used my car and I drived...

Hi.

My 2019 Berlingo has had a few problems recently which I would like to get sorted out. One of the problems is that it is now stuck in gear and I cannot select neutral. It is the EAT8 auto gearbox. This will make it hard to be recovered to my preferred garage.

Is there an easy way of unlocking the gearbox or do I have it dragged onto the...

Hey everyone

I am all new here and to Citroen so please understand my constant state of confusion 😕

Want to start by saying I clearly did not do my homework before I started playing with the car, so this is what happened;

My caliper was stuck and rear brakes were bad so I started the job to butter up the caliper and change brakes.
No, I did...

Good morning,
I have a citroen 2007 c4 picasso grand. After 1 year I got it, a fault U1208 appeared.
And after 4 days it appeared faulty handbrake, esp and service.
The first thing I checked was the battery and it's ok.
I went to the garage with a maxisys diagnostic tool where he tried to delete the fault but it came up again. We checked the four...

Hi.
A newbie here….
I recently test drove a 2016 (66 plate) relay.
It’s on 170k miles, but, as an ex-patient transport vehicle, should have been well serviced.
It drove really nice - clutch, steering, gear change, brakes, etc.
However, after a few miles, once it had warmed up, and in stationary then moving traffic, it started bellowing out white...
