2012 C4 Grand picasso Air con problem

Took my Grand picasso for an air con charge today, as i doesnt work. the system is gassed, and the compressor kicks in and runs! however, the system isnt circulating the gas as required to make the system cool.. ive had a look at the obvious fuses ETC, everything looks to be plugged in correctly and i had it on the snap on reader a couple of weeks ago, and it showed no fault codes related to the Air con - So at this point im a bit stumped! Could it be the Compressor?? am i missing something obvious? Its worth noting the main radiator fan doesnt kick up either, but it might not if the system isnt circulating!

Completely lost with it all now (its also worth noting that one of my fuseboxes doesnt look like any of the diagrams)

I'd suggest you have another diagnostic since the system has been regassed. Presumably the technicians were able to pull a decent vacuum before refilling and you have had the correct amount of lubricant installed with the gas?

It hasnt been regassed though as the system failed to opearate! the pressure was already present. im beginning to think the compressor is dead if im honest...

yes! everything else is all running as normal

I had the exact same problem with our 2015 308. One of the boxes was not what was shown in the handbook that came with the car. That handbook was edition DAD_01_2015 and a downloaded copy was exactly the same. There was, however, also an edition DAD_02_2015 and this had fuseboxes that were both different to that in the 01 edition. However, one was the same as the on the car and thus I had diagrams of both in the end.

Update for you all... Just got off the phone to a local air con guy had a good technical discussion, and my fears have come true... the compressor is knackered! so, time for me to hunt out a new one! Thanks all
