I had reason to take the locking ring off my diesel tank on the 407 estate.

When reinstalling, I noticed it had a arrow pointer but no visible marker on the tank body that I could see.

It looks about right as the ABS sensor holes are in the right spots, I can't screw it in anymore and no movement from the pump when pushed down.

Any ideas...

After replacing the original but faulty advance solenoid (coded) with a non coded LUCAS solenoid, I can't start the car.
The new solenoid receives +12V correctly after I start the car with the key.

A diagnostic with PP2000, shows this Default :

ECU Engine / Permanent Fault. Pump Module locked.

Tried to remove F2 fuse : issue is still...
