Good Day,
I have a Peugeot 508 2.0 LHD that suddenly showed multiple errors on the dash
All related to ABS/ESP
I have no speed showing and the car needs to long press the start button to start and to shutdown
my observations
when the steering lock actuates the speed shows up on the screen
the abs module has no communication but will sometimes go online
my main query is if the steering lock and the abs module is powered by one circuit or in any way connected in the bsi?
faults remaining now after clear are
ECU
U2118 Permanent fault
U1218 Permanent fault
P2711 Intermittent
U2000 Intermittent
BSI
U1F0E 88 Intermittent
U1F00 00 Present
U1802 86 Present
B1816 87 Intermittent
U1809 81 Intermittent
B132F 81 Intermittent
U1F2E 87 Intermittent
U1305 Permanent fault
C1408 Permanent fault
U1308 Permanent fault
I am deciding if the abs module is at fault or the bsi. or If I should look at wirings.
thank you in advance!

Re: need help esp fault
Often when you get multiple faults it is down to the battery condition, however as a first step I would suggest you do a BSI reset following the procedure in the link below. After the reset see how many faults remain and then more diagnostics will be needed.Good luck

Re: need help esp fault
hi did the bsi reset and the codes I provided are after that. im not sure if the procedure applied is correct though as i need to hold the start button long to force it to start and shut down. cant clear bsi codes also as the computer cant see a zero speed. it does see a data that is absent but not zero, thus not allowing me to clear
