Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hi Lads I have a 1999-2000 pug 206 1.1 with no power at the OBD 2 socket, checked all fuses seem fine and reading continuity on meter, is there any gremlins that cause this I also tried a BSI reset no joy.

I have a 307 and the outsude temp display shows the double dashes --.
I have stripped both wing mirrors and there is no sensor present in either.

Everything I have read about installing an outside temperature sensor refers to joining the new sensor to the existing wires, but I don't have any existing wires.

I have a 3008 Allure (2015) and am very pleased. It's comfortable and pretty well spec'd.

Something I do miss, after coming from an Exclusive spec C4, is the cornering for lights.

The rocker gasket on my 1.4HDi engine is damaged and weeping a little bit of oil. I cannot get a replacement until the middle of next week, I'm thinking of applying a thin bead of sump sealant on the outside edge of the rubber gasket, has anyone done this and did it work? Thanks

I have a 1995 106 Roland Garros which I converted to diesel. The engine I fitted was a 1.4 non turbo from a 1884 106 Kid Diesel. The Roland Garros has a rev counter fitted which seems to be connected to the engine management ECU but the kid diesel has no engine management ECU and according to the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual is connected...

Rev counters can be wired into the alternator if all else fails, I did it that way on my old LDV van.
It wasn't difficult at all but the maths for the components took a little while to work out.
I say components as I think it was a few resistors but actually don't remember.
If you don't have any luck with the TDC I'm sure I could dig out the data...

Hi. I have a 55plate 206 1.4 hdi sw. It turns but will not fire. In engine fusebox, fuse 8 keeps blowing as soon as ignition is on. When wire plug between fuse 15 and 8 is removed, (first plug top left) fuse does not blow. I assume these wires lead to the faulty component. Anyone know what it feeds?

I heard it was 10 ignition on/off cycles before it reset, may be wrong but that's about how many times to get rid of the EML after I was faffing with connectors on ours. Whatever the case it'd be good to see what the code/s are for so diagbox session would be recommended I agree.

For those of short attention span - turbo actuation fault diagnosis on the Hdi is loads easier with a vacuum gauge. 30 quid well spent!

The turbo stopped blowing, which dropped the engine to what felt like 60 Hp! I only had one error message over the course of a week of driving, something about low turbo pressure on Pug Planet. no lights or bings...

My 307 has a slight misfire at idle. I know this can only get worse I have no access to diagnostic software and doing a leak test isn't an option. Is it possible to unplug one injector at a time until I find the duff one and will doing this do any damage or even work?

1 and 2 are a bit higher maybe both together are off enough to make it misfire? I think I will change the 2 with the highest leak and do another test. I can buy a complete engine minus the turbo for £60.00 might be my plan C, as usual there is no plan B

Anybody know the part number for the pulley ? I've looked on servicebox, and it shows 0515.v9. I have one of these in original cit/pug wrapping and it is not right. The 0515.v9 pulley has a hole in the middle of around 30mm with a key slot. The one that I eventually took off the car (man that bolt is tight) has a hole around 12mm diameter and no...

I hate to say it, but Pug were right ! The new crank angle disc is a lightweight thin thing rather than the older style with a boss in the middle on the crankshaft. Part numbers can be dug out of services if needed.

When I let off the throttle, the car jerks forward and this is somehow irritating for me and makes smooth driving through traffic impossible.

I would second engine mounts - especially the lower mount / torque reaction bush. These can go soft and let the engine move about too much. You could try getting underneath and seeing if you can rock the sump backwards and forwards at all by hand. The play should be really negligible if the mounts are in good nick.

hi all, Swimbo's 206 packed up at lunch.. I just went to rescue it/her lol

the symptoms were a non starter on the key, complete with clock resetting to french days, and so on.. I dont know if the engine turned over or just clicked at the time.

I went to it, stricken near the Hop Farm for those that are local, and measured battery voltage, 12.4 -...

Hi. Today I was goofing around in my car. I removed the ashtray from its place and I noticed a little diode. I tried everything to light it up - turning on ignition, pushing the lighter button, etc. Anyone knows what this diode is for? I'm just curious.

One of my estates has suddenly come over all weak. Very little throttle response until you get to around 2600 rpm then it takes off. Tried MAF as that's what it felt like but no improvement, also found the throttle cable slack, fixed that still no better. No smoke, tried an Italian tune up that didn't help either.

Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem on my 207 I found that my problem was cured by changing the turbo intake seal, it's running fine now. I took it to a garage and they told me that it could be the cause of the problem then I went to a pug dealership and they told me pretty much the same thing. Try changing it not expensive and a bit of p**s to change

Hi all,

I have a 2007 Partner with a 9HX 1.6 HDi engine, 148000 km (92k miles). It has a tendency to idle slightly uneven when cold, but apart from that seems to be pretty solid. I bought it 6 months ago and at that point it needed a new EGR valve and glow plugs, which I have done. Also it developed a leak on one injector, so I pulled that one to...

The camshaft swap seems to have been successful. Its still running rough when cold, but the top end racket is gone. The new timing belt is slightly noisy, but there is not a lot you can get wrong with the automatic tensioner so I'm hoping that it will quieten down as it runs in. Changing a wheel bearing has quietened things down, but also revealed...

chaps, I keep seeing a 607 for sale on a street.. it attracted a PCN today.. it's £600 and 2002.. a 2.2Hdi

I dont know what to make of them really.. it's a climb down from the X7, in every respect I would think.. it's not any more practical.. is there anything good or exceptional about them? or are they just a large barge with average economy...

Looking at either a 307 or 308 hdi

There seems to be a 1.6 and 2.0 in different bhps. Which have fap and do all have duel mass flywheel?

Seen a 2.0lt 90bhp which from Google has no duel mass or dpf and a 1.6lt 110bhp but not sure what it has, engine code DV6TED4(9HZ).

I think it is only the 2.0. 8 valve engine that doesn't have a DPF and the 90 hp version that doesn't have a DMF. That is my experience but I wouldn't swear to it in all cases. I think the 308 will have the 16 valve engine so has both DPF and DMF.

The lights on my clock display seemed to be getting duller so I took it out and changed all the bulbs now none of them works! Is there a fix or would using these do the job? . I also have power to my fog lights at the plug on the back of the light but no power to the bulbs on either side, how can this be possible?

Not that i have a problem at the moment, but your never know,
I have a 2007 Peugeot Expert 2.0L RHK 110 hp, I think,
Siemens Injector number 9659337980
The other set is out of a 407 RHR 120hp engine Siemens Injector 9647247280.

Hello and good day, i have recently purchased a 61 plate Expert Tepee L2 WAV with low miles. I want to fit a tow bar, but the tow bar companies say it cannot be done. I have tried to get in touch with the original conversion company Constables . but it looks like they are no longer trading.

I'm struggling to find this part brake servo booster to fit my car. I've had Peugeot say there 3 different types and had motor factors and online problems. The car sitting in the garage surely somebody must know where or has one.

The brake booster servo works great now the new one the hissing gone.

So ATE you can only buy right hand drive brake booster from Peugeot direct. So ATE must of sold all right hand brake booster to Peugeot as ATE don't stock these anymore.

The rest all advertised on ebay and other places will not fit even if ATE because there all left hand...

Hi,
Hope you can help me understand how to understand injector flow correction reading from PP2000.

the car is a peugeot 307 1.6hdi 110

reading idle as follow:

injec1: 1.63mg
injec2: -5.53mg
injec3: 0.03mg
injec4: 0.17mg

I have concern for number 1 and surely 2.

Lilpug is a little poorly. She is running slightly erractly, missing at times and backfiring. I have fitted new plugs, plus leads, air filter, fuel filter, oil and oil filter. The vans have been swapped round today.

I've found an empty 1L bottle of 10w40 A3/B4 part synthetic oil in the cab of the new one.
The turbo pipe is leaking oil which explains why.

Problem is that the Van is Euro5 with a particle filter.
It's recommended oil is 5w30 C3 low SAPS Synthetic.

The oil on the dipstick looks watery and very black....

The ignition lock on my 2000 Peugeot 306 has finally worn out ( lock still engages but haven't been able to remove the key for over two months now!)

Anyway, I've figured out how to remove it (quite easy actually) but all the replacements I can find which claim to be compatible with my car have 6 wires on 3 connectors but mine only has 4 wires on...

Yes... for anyone having worn ignition lock/barrel problems on the 306, and probably whole host of other models (this seems to have been a common fitment on loads of cars (PSA and other marques) for many years). If the actual barrel is the same then the six wire/3 connector (which is most common on ebay and cheap to buy as of 2017)...

I must say that the automatic box works excellent, does not jerk, it does not go into protected mode.
After changing the heat exchanger, I went for a spin to try the car.
Now I have an error which is as follows:
PERMANENT DEFECT. CONVERTER BRIDGE. COHERENCE.
Anyone know what you mean?

Hi.
Last weekend I tried the car. This time did not make a message error with the automatic transmission. Maybe it's a wiring problem or battery problem (it's already 2 years old).
The TC is as XANTIA_V6 says. A lot of difference in% when unlocked, very little when the TC is blocked. I understand that it works correctly.
Keep investigating.

My daughters 307 blower motor has stopped I have changed the resistor in the blower cowling, The wiring and the plug looks OK and it still does not work
