The noise comes at precisely 1950 rpm and sounds as if some resonant frequency is met at exactly this rpm (see/hear video: The noise is only dependent on the rpm, so it doesn't matter if the car is in motion or just standing in neutral. It gets significantly louder when the outside temperature is cold. The colder the weather, the louder the noise and vice-versa. If the car has been in direct sunlight on a hot summer day the noise almost disappears.
Has anyone encountered something like this before? I can almost hear it coming from the interior, but this could also be an illusion. Maybe bad engine mounts? I don't hear anything when I am standing in front of the car with the hood opened and someone else I revving the engine. Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you
