Peugeot 307 Trims

How’s it going,

I posted this in the Peugeot Forums but I thought I’d put it here too

Recently my grandmother gave her car to my mother as she was finished using it - a 2006 Peugeot 307 1.4.

Now badges on the side of the car read “SX” yet when I look up the reg on a reg check website it appears as “XS”.

I cannot find any information to show that there ever was such thing as an SX model.

My grandfather bought the car new in 2006, so I might be able to ask him, despite this he mightn’t have as much info on the different trims as some people here

Have a look on Parkers, you can select the trim levels for the 307. XS is one of them, but no SX is listed:

Hi Adam, the vehicle licensing people in Shannon often input model names incorrectly in the vehicle file...which is where cartell, motorcheck etc get their details from. My Xantia Activa was registered as a Xantia Activia , like the yogurt

The trim level designations (eg. SX) on Irish-market cars often don't have an equivalent on UK-market cars, and vice versa. I assume the local distributor badges them up as whatever...

In short, don't worry about it
