2016 3008 1.6 blue hdi auto adblue warning light

Every few days adblue light comes on.followed by engine management light, followed by the count down to no re start. Remove adblue cap, replace and over a mile or so all lights go out! Replaced the adblue cap and the same thing happens!!!! Any ideas? Once the lights go out it shows no fault codes....... Help!!!

There's no electrical sensor on the adblue cap, so this may just be altering the internal pressure once you open and replace it. When did you last top up the Adblue?

What colour is your Adblue cap? Is it all one colour or does it have a centre that's a different colour?

I would suspect that this is caused by an intermittent poor connection in the tank's control assembly or connector rather than related to the cap. The only way to confirm this is with the diagnostic tool (Diagbox) to look at the fault history.
