Peugeot 207 ABS Unit

I have a 2010 Peugeot 207 with 1.4 petrol engine. ABS unit has died and I need to replace it ASAP because I really need the car working fine. However, most shops have ABS Unit for 1.6 engine. Can I fit unit from 1.6 engine or it has to be specifically from 1.4?

I wouldnt think the engine fitted would make any difference.

Update: I tried with 1.6, it does not fit, I have to get exactly unit from 1.4

Was it exactly the same year model 1.6 you took the ABS unit off?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

What is the VIN of your car?

I just checked a random 1.4 & a random 1.6 both without ESP & they are both the same part numbers. There is however an RP range change in the part number.

Are you sure the ABS unit has failed & not another issue?
