Hi. Apologies if this has been covered…
My roof blind has the common failure of peg breaking on one side, curtain shoots back out of sight. Ordinarily I would tackle this type job myself but now have severe neck problems and it is just not achievable. Does anyone know of some specialist, preferably located somewhere near Hampshire who could do...

Dear colleagues,
I am planing to have my FAP cleaned. The car reached 250 000 km and the intervals between the FAP regeneration are getting shorter. When is the reasonable time to have the FAP replaced/cleaned?

How to remove the rusted sensors connected to the FAP? Are there any tips, how to remove the FAP from the car? Will be grateful for any...

Hello everyone,
A few days ago I noticed a faulty camshaft position sensor (CMP). There's very little information about this engine. Can anyone help me and tell me if it has one or several, and especially where it's located?
Thank you very much

Doing a few posts at the moment :-?

So twice today a warning was triggered that the ACC was unavailable when the car was turned on then shortly after driving it went into limp mode. It's only 20 months old with 3.6k on the clock so I'm a little bit miffed TBH. I've only had the car 5 days so it's going to get recovered back to the dealer to be...

Hi just received my new 2025 citroën spacetourer 2.0 WAV yesterday and didn't come with rear camera just sensors but noticed that it has a option on the screen fora 180° camera.i can find plenty of rear camera where the brake light goes but need one that has a hole on the left side as that's where the washer jet is on the single 1 piece back door...

Hi Team,

Greetings from Mauritius Island. I currently drive a 2012 2.0HDi X7 with the DW10CTED4 engine.
Will be going through to change the timing belt soon and I wish to change the camshaft and crankshaft oil seal. Also required to change the driveshaft seals as they are leaking.

So far I have found the shaft seal to be ID: 40 | OD: 58....

Hi, I have a Citroën C4 Grand Picasso I (UA) 1.6 HDI-110 2013 (but the model that ran from 2010 to 2013).

My car lost all forward power (as apposed to electric power) at around 115 km an hour, and since then refuses to start.
When I try to start the car, the engine makes a short try (sounds like a loud cough) and then immediately stops the try....

Just looking to see if anyone has seen similar before I call dealer tomorrow

The online features have been ok since I got the car, app updated location, journey's, charge level, all the usual stuff, and all seemed ok

Randomly the app has stopped doing this on Friday afternoon, we never really noticed at the time, but it still showing last...

Evening all :)

My wife's Citroen C4 is due for a timing belt and water pump change.

I believe it's a Blue HDI but am not sure if it's a 1.5 or 1.6 engine that's in it. The VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].

Does anybody know the engine specs?

I've seen a couple of timing belt and water pump kits but am not sure of the correct part number for that...

Hi everyone - I’ve just joined the forum and this is my first post.
We’ve got a 2011 Picasso 1.6hdi Exclusive, purchased two years ago with 25k on the clock, it now has 41k. Until we purchased, the car had been in the same family from new with regular services and maintenance and full MOT pass history.
The problem we have now is black smoke on...

I have a 2013 Citroen DS5 turbo-petrol (THP155) that has covered 80,000 kms and I am expecting to have thermostat problems at some stage. My understanding is that the design of the thermostat has been progressively modified to overcome structural issues (cracking of the housing ) and that the wax pellet unit was replaced with an electronic one....

Bought c4 picasso cheap as project, came with esr/asr fault drove fine no limp home mode, came with spare new wishbone/droplinks / ball joints, also had new pads n disc's, new tyres, so worth a chance at trying to fix . Hello,
As an intro this is my first post and looking forward to sharing experiences.

I have recently replaced a timing belt on wife's car. This is a Citroen Picasso C3, Airdream, 1.6 HDI, 2010.I did this myself only because the cost of having a garage fix this was out of reach for our budget.

I was patient ( having not done this before),and it...

I have been trying to learn bits about the C2 VTS and want to change to a race spec linkage but I don't understand what the difference is between the MA and BE boxes as im still fairly new to all this. Can someone please explain the difference and which one I'm most likely to have?

I also have a question about what sounds almost like a grinding...

Hi all , so I have a Citroen c3 mk2 , I recently replaced one of the lambda sensors for the MOT which was previously causing a check engine light to come on, so I replaced that its passed the MOT and the check engine light stays off all good , not so fast 😅 its done around 5/6000 miles since then and it conked out randomly and it refused to...

Hello There,

My 2 month old C4X has developed a Speedometer and Speed Limit issue.

Incorrect values are displayed on both the main display and also the Head Up Display.

Just received it back from main dealership where I bought it. It has had a software update but the issue still remains.

This appears to be a known problem without a solution.

Initially,...

Hi,

My Citroen C4 Picasso (2008, VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]) is showing an array of errors:

- Handbrake faulty
- Braking system faulty
- Airbag(s) or pretensioner seat belt(s) faulty
- Depollution system faulty
- ABS braking system faulty
- ESP / ASR system faulty

The handbrake warning is the oldest. The other errors have arisen, intermittently at...

Hi everyone!
Would any of you have an idea where I could buy a replacement (New, Used or reconditioned) High Pressure Fuel Pump (1920AR) for my C5 2.0 HPi Exclusive (2001)? I just bought the car in Spain, and with less than 500km done in it I've been told by Citroën that the pump needs replacing and that they can't source one any longer... I've...

As per the topic title, the fuel gauge does not work on our 2004 Dispatch Van.

Strangely the Low Fuel light does work when the tank gets low. My brother keeps a gallon can in the van just in case, but so far he fills up when the light comes on & gets at least £100 in the tank.

The light working does imply the sender is working, but we are not...

I have a engine fault light.
codes
p1349 (Citroen) Fuel level sensor B circuit high.
And
p2562 (Generic) Turbocharger boost control position sensor A circuit.

Car seems to run fine, as normal.

reset fault and it has now came on 3 times after doing well over 100 miles each time.

Confused about the fuel level one as the fuel gauge works?
and...

My friend's car has this weird rear end shift whenever the car hits undulations. It is not just annoying, but slightly dangerous as you need to correct all the time. Suggestion here in Aussie is that it needs a rear wheel alignment. Any suggestions from May land . It is an Exclusive petrol, not that this specification is relevant (probably)....

Regualr readers will know I have a Berlingo Multispace, and as I've more-or-less got the thing working properly these days, attention turns to the cosmetics.

The front bumper is this style, and the silver parts are painted in a satin finish silver. It's scruffy and could do with a repaint.

Does anyone know the correct paint for this?

Hy Guys!

The engine is a 2.0 HDI(90) DW10TD RHY from 2002 with 390,000km(242,334miles). The service book lists two oils Total Quartz 9000 5w40 and Total Quartz 7000 5w30
I am going to change the oil in my car now, I have been using 5w40 for about 20 years but the mechanic recommended 5w30. My question is is 5w30 better for it and if so why or...

Hi all,
I’m in desperate need of help.
I have replaced the timing belt etc on my 2018 C4 Picasso 1.6 (DV6FC), but now need to torque the crankshaft bolt. The problem is that my car is an automatic, so I’ll need to lock the flywheel. I would be extremely grateful if someone could post specific instructions on how to do this. Is there a page in a...

After a few months of challenges courtesy of our C5 2.2HDi Tourer, we have had a quiet time. Until now....

I borrowed a USB charger and plugged it in to the lighter socket on the centre console. It has a voltage display, which I started watching (as a passenger, I may add!). It cycled from 12.2V to 13v-14v and sometimes 14.5v. But, for the most...

Hello everyone,

I need your advice. My car is a 2019 Citroën C5 Aircross diesel. After a deep battery discharge, the central multimedia screen went completely black and has not turned on since.

What happened and what I tried:
• The battery was fully discharged (car wouldn’t even close). I recharged it using an AEG LT120 charger until it reached...

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help for my recent purchase, a Citroen C3 2018 MK3 Puretech Flair 1.2 petrol.
The car is relatively new and it has about 14000 miles. Unfortunately, the car has been involved in a previous accident where rear wheel, quarter panel and subframe have been damaged on the driver side. None of the...

2012 c-crosser 2.2 hdi auto

Hi

Could anyone advise if they have any suggestions on the recent issue I experienced with my c crosser. I’ve had the car 5 years and it’s been perfect. However last week I was towing and the car appeared to move the neutral in between the box changing gear. It basic revved straight to 5000 rpm with zero pull. It...

Hello folks.

New to Citroen, not mechanically minded, anything I touch turns to ash or threads but I'd like some information.

5c3iS8r.jpeg
I've attached an image.

Basically the left split gate rear light (side light, I think?) needs replacing.

The right side rear and brake light (I'm led to believe this is a single bulb perhaps) needs...

Does anyone know nonthe torque specification for main bearings on a 2.2 hdi Citroen c crosser thanks

Hello all, 2013 Berlingo with electrical gremlins and need some help!
I bought the car with a stripped Cambelt have replaced the engine , so not sure on previous history.
Horn was found to be unplugged, plugged it back in and get intermittent horn sounding but no horn when pressing steering wheel button.
Remote central locking works, but only...

I'm at a loss on this one.

I have the 2.5D engine and box out of a Talbot express on my garage floor. Its all-but identical to the Citroen C25D, and more importantly, the CX engine/box arrangement.

In order to get the unit out, I've simply split the inner tri-axe joint, leaving the tulip in the differential, and the tri-axe in the boot, on the...

I'm about to clean it as it's seriously crusty & have a few questions before proceeding.

Is there a seal between air doser and intake manifold? Couldn't find it on parts catalogue.
As I understand only electronic parts on it are MAP & air temp sensors (both removable), flap is operated by vacuum. So I can move it without messing something up?...

Aloha!
So this week has been a very unfortunate one for VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] ! After a few weeks up in Scotland I came home to an Electrical fault: have the vehicle repaired . Obviously on a 2015 I've seen this appears many many times and it usually clears itself up soon enough. However this time was different.

After day 3 I was out and about...

Hello, has anyone know where to find a side light schematics for the Citroen C8 2014 2.0hdi? I have a problem where I got water in the fuse box under the bonnet. Some pins have broke and now side lights don't work anymore. Or would there be a way to short some connectors so that the lights would come up when the low beams turn on?

Hy guys!
Sorry for my bad English.

I have a 2002 Citroen Xsara Break (N2) 2.0 HDI (90). It's a DW10TD/RHY engine. My big question is, what is the engine's operating temperature? Mine runs at 75°C. A little higher in the summer. Is this normal? I thought the sensor was bad, but I measured the water, the pipes, the expansion tank with a laser...

Hi,

Have a picasso grand 2014 DV6DTED engine.

The engine management light came on stating Particle fuel additive level too low, get vehicle repaired .

Something in the back of mind is telling me I've read this car doesn't have an adblue system?? The filler is certainly not best to the fuel cap and I've also looked under the 3rd row seats and...

Hi folks.
Question-
Will mk 1 c6 alloys fit my C4 coupe?
I have seen a c6 near to work covered in crap and sat on the ground and hasn’t moved for months.
I’m thinking of dropping a note on it to see if they will sell the wheels off it.
Does anyone know if the offset is completely different and a no go?
I think the 18’s would look nice on my car

Good day all Frech Car forum people;

I'm trying to recover a 2010 Citroen C5 1.6 HDi Fap from a relative who suffered a right side lateral impact and was involved in a accident. The right curtain airbag, airbag right seat deployed where the impact occurred, and the driver's knee airbag left side and both seat belts also deployed.

My questions:...

Hi can anyone help... recently my C5X hybrid has developed an issue.. when I select Hybrid as usual and move away it would always stay in electric mode until I accelerate hard or when the vehicle decides it needs to swap from electric to petrol... HOWEVER . now when I drive away in only a few yards the engine comes on. It is still running on...

Hi all,
I've lost power, feels like turbo is missing.
Above 2k rpm, perks up slightly.
Initially, the hose from intercooler to inlet manifold was folding flat!!, but not doing that now, but on tickover, it does chuff like a steam engine.
I've checked all vacuum hoses.
Turbo solenoid appeared to be n/o, not n/c, so I replaced that with crossed...

Hi everybody,

After the debacle I had with the injectors, which is now sorted. I now have another problem.

The engine idles lovely and pulls really well upto 3K. However, once over 3K the engine cuts out and the engine management light comes on. The code I'm getting is P0093.

I'm going to change the fuel filter tomorrow as I'm not sure when it...

Having changed my oil filter today , Im not in she who must be obeyed's good books!

I just pumped 2-3 lt of oil all over the drive. Because I missed the fact the filter cover needs a hard push to start it screwing home. I must have got it cross threaded because id did it up to 25 Nm.

Who ever designed the filter access needs replacing, the only...

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and am hoping for some help.

I own a 57 plate Citroen Relay 2.2 hdi. I've replaced the injectors with remanufactured Denso from an online retailer (not ebay).

I've fitted the new injectors and had a friend code them. The problem he's having is that the engine management light won't go out. He's getting a message that...

Tried, and failed to change rear brake pads!

Handbrake off, wheel off! all was going well.

I could not undo the bolts holding the calipers onto the car

Tried a spanner, then WD40, then spanner again, then hitting the spanner with a hammer, followed by more WD40, neither bolt on the drivers side would budge.

Ive got a quote coming from a...

I've had an enquiry via my CCC column to ask about swapping the ATF and any allied routine service work on the automatic gearbox fitted to the very rare series 1 1.6i Saxo Automatic...

All I can determine from my enquiries/searches is that it's a 3-speed and not an AL4... I'd like to know exactly what it is.

Also, can anyone shed any light on...

- Model: Citroën C3

I now have another problem with my C5 Tourer - 2litre HDI 138 with DW10BTED4 engine and AM6 auto. When pushing on and accelerating hard, there is the dreaded 'boing' and the 'Engine Management Fault' light comes up. There is from then on some loss of power which is not returned until stopping, switching off and restarting; clearly the engine has...

Let me start this by saying that in my area where i live i have no access to a proper Citroen diagnostic ( the closest shops that have it will book me after more than a month away )\

Car has issues with being able to regenerate the DPF first showing a SERVICE light followed by a message Risk of DPF blockage and shortly after goes into the so...
