Hi, my 2018 DS3 Cabriolet Roof is stuck half way open!
Fuses seem OK in boot but had to replace a couple of weeks ago. Motor for roof got really hot and now doesn't work at all. Thinking I could need new Folding Roof Motors but can't seem to find these online anywhere.

Washed my car at the weekend using a hose and noticed afterwards that some water had made its way into the passenger side rear light. I called the dealer and it's a known issue and the subject of a notice issued to dealers by DS. It's being replaced under warranty next week while I wait. A 30 minute job, apparently.

Good morning all,

The rear view camera on my DS5 (2012 model) is great in the day but quite useless in a dark carpark or in the evenings. i have replaced teh reverse lights with LED ones as well as the numberplate ones but still not much luck. Has anyone done anything to resolve the poor quality issues?

Ok, so here’s what I found with my camera (thank you iPhone 11 Pro wide angle lens).

There is one torx screw and 3 clips for the reverse camera to push out.

And the cable connector is not far at all, you can trace it with your hand and reach it to disconnect. No need to have the bumper off at all.

DS5: Swapping HID to halogen headlights?

Does anyone know if there are complications in replacing HID headlights with a pair of halogen ones on a DS5?

Usually, in PSA land, usually the outside connector is the same regardless of the headlight type, all taking 12V in.

Might require changing some headlight parameters in BSI so that the car doesn't expect the presence of side-to-side...

Are there any guides on how to change the battery on a DS7 - 2018 model.

I've had a look under the hood and of course it doesn't look simple.

There are a couple of videos showing a Citroen 2.0 Dispatch and Peugeot 5008 which look similar - there is the same plastic piece over the top of the battery.

Any ideas?

1. Remove the plastic piece across the top of the battery - as seen in this video at 30s:

2. Remove the 4 x 10mm bolts located forward of the battery which hold the plate which holds the battery down

Hi, a per the title I can't unlock /open my fuel filler cap with tcentfl locking. I've tried all the tips I can find online to try access internally but nothing works.

By all accounts it's ray enough to release the filler cap from the inside but you need to remove the side panel of the boot or use an access panel again on the side. My car doesn't...

Currently doing a clutch and flywheel on a DS3 1.6eHDI 92 2011 plate. Believed these cars were fitted with DMF as these were the only parts that showed up when on GSF/Euros. However when getting the gearbox off there was a SMF from factory (clear this has never been replaced) however I’m struggling finding a SMF + clutch kit for these.

Very small issue..
Whenever I turn my DS5 on. The media centre reverts to FM radio at the beginning of the FM band (85.1)
No matter what I do.
I have stations saved etc.

Yesterday I managed to lighten my car a bit, but I feel it became too aerodynamic, so I would like to revert the tuning.
The plastic parts snapped back confidently, but I don't know what should be there. Is it just the plastic cover that's missing, or do I need a new mirror??

When I bought my DS5 18 months ago the radio would remember the previous station from when the car was turned off to when the car was next used. For the last few months it hasn't, it just defaults to medium wave static. It remembers all the presents etc but I have to press Dab then the preset I need every time. Have you checked the fuses, one should provide a permanent supply to keep the settings in memory.
Some cars have a shunt fuse, normally in the 'customer' position but pre-sale in the 'dealer' position to reduce or eliminate battery drain for cars stood for months on end. Check that this fuse is in the correct position.

Your recall letter should have a recall code which can be searched on and put on here so others can probably let you know what it involves. If it is an old recall it might be to do with the timing belt so I would wait before doing any diy oil changes. The recall can only be done by a dealer and will not cost you anything.

I got this error code on my car P15B3 additive adding “Calculated additive level below minimum threshold”
it has nothing to do with the Adblue tank because it works as it should and registers every time I fill it up.
But I didn't think my car used both adblue and eolyse fluid but it seems it does.

General enquiry - how many miles world you generally expect the timing belt on a DS7 Crossback to last?

Not sure if I'm being spun a line by my DS dealership or not.

Depends on which engine but rather than how long they last you should use the recommended replacement time in years or a mileage if sooner and then you do not need to wait that long to avoid the worry of an early failure. Puretech petrol ones run in oil so have a replacement sooner than say a diesel one which does not.

I have DS5 2016 model 2.0 BlueHdi diesel 180 HP automatic car.

I need your advise regarding my higher pressure problem on expansion tank. Maybe I top up 750ml coolant every day due to expansion tank higher pressure issue.

1. There is no overheating issue and 90 degrees settling always when I drive.
2. Heating fans works well....

If it's not overheating, but the tank is over pressuring and blowing out coolant, then odds on the head gasket is gone. Does it pressurise quickly from cold (i.e. before it gets hot) / does it retain pressure overnight?

Hi guys, I don't know if it's just me or if really takes that long to heat up this model. I was checking the coolant temperatures with my OBD and it takes almost 20 min to reach 100° any one else is having problems to have heating during winter? I'll attach a graphic of that so you can see it. Also after 10 min running when it get to 90° it opens...

2015 DS5 1.6 diesel: mine has the discharge headlamps with turn function, and LED fog lamps/corner lights.

The nearside fog lamp isn’t working. A replacement unit is around £110, but the equivalent halogen units are about half this.

Is it worth investing 110 quid on one lamp? Or can the halogen unit just be a straight fit ? Or is the...

Hi guys, I've recently purchased a used 2017 DS3 with 16 wheels but it doesn't have a spare wheel and instead comes with the tyre-repair inflator kit.
Personally I'd prefer a spare wheel for convenience so I'd like to pick the brains of you guys to let me know the exact wheel/tyre size I should be looking for.

Might not be as simple as you hope. You need a wheel that will fit the car and fit in the boot, quite a lot of cars have limited wheel well space/depth designed for a space saver tyre. You will also need jack and wheel brace if they are not there already.

Evercince I bought my DS5 I've been contemplating on how to retrofit AFIL function! That's how PSA calls 2 systems; HBA aka High Beam Assist and LDW aka (unintended) Lane departure Warning.
You could find these on prefacelift DS5s more often, but later DS branded models were somewhat stripped down with equipment so this function became quite rare...
