hi, i'm in the process of changing my brother in laws CV joint and i've stumbled across a problem .....
his car is a 2012 DS3 1.6 HDI 90 - (1560cc 68KW 92HP 9HP (DV6DTED)
i've removed the orinal CV joint and when i've come to fit the new CV it's obvious there is a difference between to two .....
his original is similar to the one on the left and the replacement on the right (although it fits perfectly) has a relucter ring ......
is this a superceeded part or an incorrect part that has been sent ?

I'd suggest you contact one of the big parts suppliers like the one in the link below and ask if there has been an upgrade in the CV joints for the DS3:
