Replacing a Turbo on a Ds3 Pricey?

I'm looking to replace the turbo on my Ds3 Diesel in order to see If it sorts out an issue I have with the car after a Rac person tellin me it's maybe the problem.

I have been quoted £900+ is that the going rate?

Can you give full details of your car, year, body, gearbox and engine to enable reference to the right information. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

What is wrong with the car, any symptoms, any fault codes, burning oil, smoke from exhaust ?
