I have a 2013 Citroën DS3 1.6 THP (155k km) and I’m trying to diagnose an issue that only happens under heavy acceleration.
Symptoms:
- Car drives completely normal under light / medium throttle
- When I go full throttle, the engine light comes on
- The car immediately goes into limp mode and loses power
- If I clear the codes, it drives normally again until I push it hard
---
Parts already replaced:
- Diverter valve (recirculation valve)
- Turbo pressure sensor (MAP sensor)
- Spark plugs (recent)
---
OBD Scan Report:
P0313 – Misfire detected – low fuel level
Status: Confirmed / Stored in memory
P2263 – Turbocharger boost pressure performance problem
Status: Pending / Present during current drive cycle
No transmission, ABS, or power steering faults.
---
Additional info:
- No permanent misfire at idle
- Issue only appears under boost / full throttle
- I have not yet confirmed wastegate rod play
- Considering testing or replacing the Pierburg boost control solenoid
Has anyone experienced P2263 + P0313 together on the THP?
Could the misfire be caused by incorrect boost control (lean condition under load)?
Would you recommend replacing the boost control solenoid first, or checking wastegate play?
Any input from other THP owners would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
