Hello

I'm wondering the exact procedure to program 2(virgin) keys with lexia/diagbox, I have no spare/originals. A remote and non remote key. I have security code.

Do I plug in lexia obd2cable(which will be connected to laptop) first then put the non remote key in ignition. I then navigate to the key programming section in diagbox and select 2...

I have seen this diagnostic system mentioned but one or two, does anyone know if it can reset the Eolys light on a C5? or is there anything else other than a Lexia that will?

Thanks

Peter

When I bought my X7 I had to update to a newer version of Diagbox so that I could talk to certain ECU's. I found at the time 7.16 was high enough to do what I needed.

I've just tried to plug Cheryl's new C4 B7 in as I've bought a SMEG +IV2 unit to fit to it instead of the SMEG one that's in it and I'm finding that mine won't talk to most of the...

Good morning you lovely people :-)

Driving the car this morning and I had a couple of warning throw up on the display...
Engine Fault: Have the vehicle repaired
and
ESP/ASR system fault

The esp I believe is the braking system. But the odd thing is that brakes are fine.

The big one is the Engine Fault. The engine is the 1.6 hdi Diesel.
The...

Hi folks,
Can anyone near Manchester or Liverpool help me out as i need the Lexia for 2 minutes job?
Thank you

Hi guys,
I finally installed Diagbox and was trying to change one setting the previous owner enabled.
On the BSI configuration tab there is an option called “police configuration” which makes the headlights flashing when you manually turn them off on the stalk. I’m disabling it and it says operation carried out however it still flashes. I’ve tried...

Just got a 2007 C4 Grand Picasso 2.0L HDi. (Auto/Manual)
It's in not bad condition and drives really well. (You get the feeling there's a 'but' in there somewhere?)
Yeah, there's a couple of buts:
1, From a standing start there's a judder for a few seconds then it smooths out and all is fine, no noises, nothing...
- if you increase the revs a bit...

Have searched the forum but not found an answer.
Expecting to do a diagnostic for a forum member tomorrow, so thought I had better do a run on our 63 plate C4 Picasso. The laptop is only used for Diagbox and nothing else and was last used in 2018 prior to MOT, just in case....
All I get now is No Dialogue on every ECU on Global test. ...

Hi All, I am a returning member who now has a 2004 C5 series1 with a 2.0L Hdi RHZ engine. I have removed the EGR valve and its manifold and blanked off the ports in the inlet manifold. The car now runs well except for the recurring EGR fault codes. What can be done to stop the computer resetting the codes. Cheers & thanks, Bruce Elsegood, Sydney,...

OK chaps, the DiagBox was well worth the money and the 300 Yr install :-D

Faults found appear thus :

C1320 FL wheel speed sensor fault
(this was replaced a couple of years ago due to a CV boot coming apart and ripping the wires off... Never experienced this before ever)

C1385 Electrovalves supply voltage fault
(supply voltage does appear to be...

My computer chap is helping, but we seem to have stumbled at one part and the DVD install instruction video doesn't seem to match the instructions n paper #-o

We're trying to get from 7.1 to 7.2, but we've missed a part and can't for whatever reason, go to the exact point n the video as if you do, it goes all the way back to the start!

So, what...

Okay so i have done this and read and re read all the posts and i messaged people on this forum for advice on which laptop/where to buy from etc etc and with the goodwill of everyone here i have a working Lexia/Diagbox that i have been able to use not only for my own benefit but at least 1 other forum member but also 3 of my neighbours who have...

So, I got the kit and instructions at the weekend.
The instructions did not align with the contents, but I managed to get 7.57 installed and validated, or so I thought.

However I don't think the install was successful.
When I open the diagbox shortcut on the desktop it opens to a blank screen and then shuts down.

Before I wipe it all and start...

I'm thinking about bidding on a netbook for diagnostics on eBay, mostly because it's cheap. Specs on the netbook / laptop / 1.6ghz, 1GB RAM, 250GB hard-drive I can upgrade to 2gig ram easy enough. Would this be powerful enough for diagnostics? It has windows 7 home but I could probably install xp if needs be. I have looked at a few Lexia Service...

Some of you will already know I am having hilarity with our 2007 C4 1.6hdi SX.

The BSM may or may not be at fault, but the two code readers I have used will not communicate with the ABS.

So, I am looking at buying a PSA friendly code reader.

This one appears to tick the boxes

Can anyone confirm or deny it's plausibility ??

And are there any...

Diagbox has a reading for Injector opening correction strategies activation status which I think is linked to End mileage of the last PICL resetting loop .
I can see that the strategy gets activated quite a lot when I lift my foot of the accelerator at higher speeds. I'm assuming that this is the ecu setting adaptions for injector pilot...

This must have been covered many times but after what feels like days of trawling the internet I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

I have a Nemo van with only one key, I have a new blank key fob which is cut but I am not sure how I need to program it? The key supplier states:

Programming Method:

Immobiliser: Pre-code by EEPROM and then...

Just loaded Diagbox onto my laptop and when I switched on the message The Psa SingleSignOn BHO add-on from an unknown publisher is ready for use.. enable/don't enable.

What's the answer?

Hello
With some ebay sellers saying this about their Lexia But please pay attention, according to our customer's experience, this item can not works good at C5 new models.
Have any X7 owners had success with any of the ebay Chinese Lexias, and if so, which one?

TIA

Hi

Has anybody either got, or had any experience with, a iCarsoft FR V2.0 diagnostic tool ?

They claim to be specifically designed for Citroen/Peugeot/Renault.

Any thoughts or advice much appreciated :)

Got 'new' laptop for diagbox, but can't get diagbox to talk to car.

The green connection light on program (top right corner) appears and disappears.

I'm trying to find what should be on or off in order for Diagbox to work right ?

Also I'm trying to confirm what is exactly in the Laptop.

It is a dell latitude E6500 running winodws 7 pro, 4gb...

On my DW10CD 2.0 Peugeot Expert diesel, the Mixture calculated by the O2 sensor default reading is 0.099 when the engine is off.
Since no units are specified I'd expect 1 to equal a ratio of 14.7, with a value below 1 indicating lean conditions
In practice this figure reads mainly between 0.25 and 0.65 (mostly at the higher end) - so that would...

Rained off from any proper work I decided to have another go at getting my Lexia on to a different laptop.

Got it as far as v7.02 but can't get the updates to work, found them and set them running but it's still on 7.02 when I open it again.

I guess it's me at fault but...…….

I have a dpf low, Warning on my c6 2.7 07. So I put in 1ltr Elloys, and I'm trying to reset!
Can anyone talk me through didgibox? This is not my area of expertise, and I'm about to fall on my sword!
I've spent some hours on it and Im getting a bit frustrated!
Does it effect diagnostic when ignition times out?

Hi all,

i recently bought a lexia 3 clone from ebay, all seemed to be going well during the installation until it fails with an error message in french i believe at the installing caculo stage.
now i realise this isn't genuine software and could be corrupted, but does anyone have any advice on what i could try to get this working?

Hi,

looking at the Diagbox parameter readout for ECU DCM3.5_BR2 there is a parameter for each cyclinder,
Difference in engine speed on engine cylinder 1 etc.., the description is Difference between 2 current engine speeds , and it's measured in RPM
The xml logfiles call this MP_ECART_REGIME_MOTEUR_CYLINDRE_MOTEUR_1 etc

Just curious as to what...

Hi All,

On my drive to France last week the engine management came on, this happened when accelerating away from the toll gates. There was obvious loss of power or anything else but the cruise control and A/C was not working.

Once back home my laptop for diagbox played up but I eventually got the following codes

P1445 Additive adding ---- The...

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Lexia 3 Diagnostic Kit. Installation on my laptop running Windows XP SP3 works fine, but when trying to activate the software I get the dreaded Error during installation of Lexia 3, please re-activate to use the software error. I was hoping someone might have come across this error before and wanted to seek some...

Hi I have a Citroen c2 with an ecu problem, I got a ecu kit from eBay , ecu body control module and key fob. now I have a battery light on, loading lexia I put in the vin code and will not communicate, I assume it is because the the vin code on the ecu does not match the ecu.

Hey all,
I'm trying to use the supescan, through Bluetooth adapter but get security key error.
How do I get the code for my 2006 C5 petrol 2000 to be able to configure stuff?

Got a mate to take off and clean the EGR valve but after refitting it and checking with my £20 scanner, I have still got the EGR code and now 2 new ones ! Relating to The eolys additive system. Is it possible he has put something back together wrongly and caused these faults ? He did have to take off a hell of a lot of stuff to get to the EGR. I...

I have a Citroen Picasso 2.0 HDI from 2004 and as I say here I am buying a Peugeot 2008 BlueHDI, thus I would like to know if this diagnostic tool is suitable for both cars?

Not exactly a show stopper type issue, just a nuisance - Almost each time time I start up Lexia it needs to be validated. I got it running ( and validated again) this morning and had a play around with the laptop, shut down, restart, etc, and it was ok. So not sure if its a date thing? It does have the requested version.txt on C: drive.
I recently...

Thought I would take the liberty of shifting my problem from the Citroen area to this sub forum.
My problem is an emissions failure on the C3 1.4i. My first hurdle was to get Lexia to play- but with invaluable help from Marc.......

So now I am collecting data. I know I am zoning in on the issue- but it is going to take time to learn how to...

Hi, as per another thread,, when driving my 2006 peugoet 1007 1.6 auto (2-tronic), I am experiencing significantly lighter steering to the right than to the left, I've since hooked up Diagbox/PP2000 on it and can see at rest the sensor is reading 1.1nm torque to the right, at full lock right - ie pushing against the end of the rack - its...

Good morning,

How do you access the forced low position on Lexia ?

I presume global test, suspension then what ?

Kenny

Hi all I have been looking at getting a Lexia 3 I have just finished changing the engine in my Dispatch van 2.0 hdi and it will not start, my fault code reader is not helping so think I need something better, I am not that good with computers so will have to get some help to get it to work,
There are many different prices, I need one that works...

I still can't get this damned thing to work, been all though the settings on the laptop again, but still getting 'no dialogue' on all the systems.

The software seems to be loaded ok, I get the ding-dong when connecting to the usb and the green light's on.

Anyone up to testing it for me on a known good set up if I parcel it up and send it to...

On both the Dutch C5 forum and here, I see a lot of remarks about use Lexia and Diagbox software for this and that and everything.

My garage is a non-brand professional garage and uses Hella Gutmann Mega Macs PC software for diagnostics etc. Is that a suitable equivalent or does this lexia or diagbox has something special for citroen that this...

Google is sooo useless lately! I’ve got this new error now & I've no idea what it is! I’ve put an image up of the fault code in Lexia but I don’t really know where to go from here. If it helps I’m experiencing a similar issue to clutch slip but only when shifting gears. I’ll switch up a gear and the car will rev high but not bite immediately. It’s...

Hi Guys

After spending some time failing to get my citroendocbackup to work (some kind of javascript error which i never solved) I've decided to replace it. Looking online it all seems to be downloads rather than discs.
Anyone had any experience of which one to get?

Cheers

Bandit

Hi guys

So I need to replace my gearbox actuator on my Sensodrive C2, I was initially going to refurb it but now I think i’ll Get a new part instead. That being said i’ve Read so many issues about dodgy clones of Lexia, can anyone suggest a legitimate one that will allow me to programs the new actuator??

Thanks

D

This Lexia is.

Tried again today to get this poxy thing to work, spent an hour out there, it all shows up on the screen, click on the global but everything gets the same 'no connection' message.

Did all the stuff recommended in these threads, total waste of time.

Tried the other laptop with the Wurth WoW kit and it connects immediately and...

Thanks.

I know most people here talk about Lexias in order to find faults. However, we have a number of more recent non PSA cars in the family and I was looking at getting a more modern code reader that would cover all as well as the Citroen.

Are there any recommended home mechanic tools out there that would cover most bases as well as the PSA...

Hi there. Baby's first post :-D and although I'm new here, I have been round the block a little with Peugeots, software use and motor engineering in general.

We currently have a few 206s in the family (2.0L cc, 2.0L HDi, 1.4L Entice). I bought a Win7 laptop a couple of months ago with DiagBox 7.57 pre-installed and a Lexia connector & leads. It...

I was watching a guy on YouTube flashing an ECU with Lexia and he told me the files were preinstalled with Lexia. He said they came preinstalled up until CD45.

How can I tell if my version of Lexia has the ECU files on it and does anyone know the location of the folder where they reside? Also what does he mean by CD45? I believe the original file...

My 406 V6 (2001 Multiplex Estate)when started throws up lights/messages for the ABS/ESP system, airbag fault and the power steering is heavy.

I recently replaced the alternator and battery, and what i assume to be the ABS/ESP ecu was unplugged at the time, its all plugged back in now and been inspected a dozen times.

PP2000 is saying the...

My little flo (Citroen C2 VTR 1.6L 16v Sensodrive) who's been sitting at a garage for 2 Years is finally home and there's now a BIG problem, she failed her MOT but I managed to get her home, the ESP light came on along with ABS and Supplementary Restraint System but now the ABS light and the SRS lights are off and the only one on is the ESP light,...
