Bluetooth music via phone problem.?

This unit is the MyWay system, also referred to as RNEG, made by Harman Becker.
Main Features: Also referred to as RNEG, the MyWay colour satellite navigation system, has SD card, integrated European mapping, live trafic information, voice guidance and graphics in 2D or aerial perspective & it features a Bluetooth® system (Bluetooth phone compatibility only - no Bluetooth Audio Streaming).

Bluetooth music via phone problem.?

Hello I have recently bought an used Citroen C5 2011.I can only connect phone via bluetooth and make calls but cant play music at all.Even my old 307 with rd45 has bt music...Thank you in advance.

Are you sure you’ve selected the correct profiles when pairing and given the correct permissions?

What profiles?On cellphone?Does it support music over bluetooth

Sorry, I've just realised you have the MyWay system looking at the firmware in your image - so I have moved this topic to the MyWay Forum.

This system does not support Bluetooth Music Streaming.

Also be aware, that despite the owners manual referring to playing MP3 files via the SD card slot, this also doesn't work.

The only options on this were RCA connections to a media player (pretty much useless) as you have no track control, just volume only.

Last option is an MP3 CD, you can try burning a CD-R with MP3 files, finalising the disc and trying that, not ideal, but you can get lots of music file son there.
