Hi Matt - I hope the baby didn't choke!

Unfortunately the TSB bulletins are only generally carried out within the vehicle's warranty or extended warranty period. The After-Sales campaign work will be completed free of charge though. At least that has saved you significantly on having the complete timing kit replaced as that is labour-intensive....

Citroen use this in all vehicles except collaboration vehicles like the C1 or the 107 / 108 etc:

Hi, I have a 2015 Expert 2.0hdi with P2566 and P1497. However, these faults are not on the van itself. I found them using Diagbox and EML reader. My reading for Turbo can be similar and often greater and I do feel the turbo dropping off at times. I have been assured it is the Copy sensor on the actuator, but reluctant to swap out the part. (it's...

Great to get a reply from sunny Brissie (I had pals in Eight Mile Plains)

I used to live in, and now my son lives in, Rochedale, the adjacent suburb!

As I said, I would try the ECU, BSI and keys kit from ebay/breakers.
There are a few company's that can read the PIN code from the BSI and clone an engine ECU to replace your old ECU. But you...

My 308 failed to proceed today.
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

The fault codes are:
P1385
P2337
P061F
P0565
P3010

P3010 will not erase.

Marc, can you look up the official notes on these?

I suspect that I need to pull the throttle body, but that is not a nice thing to be doing.
I've only just picked this up (time difference) so assume you don't need...

ME744

Not surprising as these can vary considerably on other equipment fitted, year, model, chassis etc. Made more difficult if your vehicle never had one to start with of course, otherwise we could of helped with a replacement part - but parts are vehicle-specific.

I believe this relates to the turbo vacuum pipe - which should be checked and replaced if required.

None listed that I can see. I think there are other after-market companies that are providing these like the Russians!

Like this:

Ok, confirmed, as per my post above, so don't use Powerflex on this vehicle as it's not a third generation additive system. Use Eolys Extend.

hello can you tell me pls what the psi of cylinders mast be pls? i have same issue but little beter psi

PS.

Should have added, for anybody pondering the job, this unit doess not require coding in. Just plug and play.

Mike.

Replaced the injectors, did a refresh the timing and it was able to start without struggle.
Thanks for the forum.

The BSI's are just the same ones used in Peugeot models. Xsara & Xsara Picasso can use different BSI's depending on age but there will be an equivalent Peugeot model that uses the same BSI.
If its for your 206 again they can be fitted with 2 main different types of BSI depending on if you have a com2000 model or not.

Ok thanks. The Citroen...

A hole in the matrix most likely. As far as I know, the seals are only on the oil side... I'm not sure about your variety of engine but it may even be possible to bypass the coolant side, just for a test...

OK, managed to fix this issue. Wasn't easy however with alot of research all good now.

If anyone needs a hand, PM me.

Hi I see this is an old post but I would be interested to know how you solved this issue please. Thanks.

If all the lights have stopped working it may well be an earth problem. Have you removed the lamp unit to have a look at the connector & see if there is any signs of melting. Might be worth trying a temp earth to the unit. If thats ok maybe look at where the towbar is wired in.

Well after clearing the fauls they came back after 40km together with another fault:
P0001 OBD-II Trouble Code Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open

Any clues ?

Not sure if this will help ?

We can help if you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

If interested,...

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep digging - I have had an ongoing discussion with the repairer on the alternator (I think there is a problem - the computer says no (cough!)).

I like the idea of telling the BSI we no longer have the radio. Would eliminate any discussion. I'll look into it.

Ok, so never use online mode with Diagbox, as it can deactivate the software. Make sure the WiFI connector is on (essential) but that the laptop is not connected to any active WiFi spots (so make sure you don't have automatically connect setup) otherwise it can deactivate as said.

Pleased you have it sorted, ignore the P1351 for now, that's to do...

I found alot of nice information about the lin bus and how to use it and I think its possible to with very low means(Arduino or lin to uaet device) do a alternator test. I will get back here if i succeed.

I will also giv it a shot to repair the old alternator if its possible. Change coals ans bearings and also verify the recitifier bridge.

Either the RD4 is faulty or is mis-configured in the BSI - but be very careful about changing anything in the BSI that you are not 100% sure of, as there are some settings that do not mean what you may think they do and can affect the operation. Make sure you check the settings and print these off before changing anything as there is no undo.

Thanks. I'll try to figure out what torque needs, because there are 3 var. of 2014-18 2.0 Lt. engine and different horsepower from 136 hp up to 180 hp, which is mine .I think i'll go for Haynes workshop manual and seems to have detail information about heavy duty maintenance. In his e-shop site claims, Torque settings . I won't risk it until I'm...

207 just had 2 new tyres black friday deal 2 for 80 quid all in & on the drive ! Mid range too.

Hi, yes we offer a parts service using the official live PSA parts database, but this service requires a membership upgrade. If you are looking for any part numbers or part diagrams then this is likely to help. Details below:

We can help if you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the...

Have an issue with my 2ltr petrol boxer also its running very rich and occasionally key code comes on on the dash and it cuts out while driving for no reason then the engine won't start at all it will turn over but all of a sudden it will decide to start again and keep going for weeks I'm wrecking my head to find out what the cause is it also...

I think the MAF should be the first check after the issues I had, sounds similar, just disconnect the cable and see how she runs then.

I don't have anything for this old a vehicle, only the restyled version. But should be simple enough to work out what works and what doesn't when the ignition is switched off. I suspect with the earlier version, fitted equipment options were more limited than later models. If you have a multimeter you should be able to see what's live and what...

That depends entirely on the type of kit you are fitting and if any good, it should of told you how and where to fit it. We can't really help you on aftermarket kits as we have no idea how complex or basic it is.

I have had several of the EGS ETG gearboxes and when they came out they were brilliant. Sadly they changed their software so that they did better with emissions and ruined what was otherwise a good box. I have now had two cars with the EAT 6 box and have driven the EAT 8 boxed cars. All absolutely brilliant. It is a really clever box and much...

Thanks Marc, at some point when it stops raining :rofl2: I will give it a try,
I thought the puddle lights and welcome lights should only responde to me pressing the keys :?:
These lights come on even with keys in a faraday pouch

thanks for the reply

Normally The purge valve is closed and applying power opens it. It allows petrol vapors from the purge canister to be burnt in the engine.
It usually bypasses any air volume metering devices. The engine ECU controls when the purge valve opens, which is usually when the engine is at high revs, low load and not at idle. The purge valve is closed...

If you are trying to bleed the clutch by pushing the pedal down and up then I have found it does not work well. It is better to suck the fluid through from the slave cylinder bleed screw using something like a large syringe although I use a Mityvac pump. If when sucking the fluid through you are only getting air through then the fluid level in the...

you might be better getting some good will if you approach Peugeot customer service UK rather than a local dealer especially if you have already had some service work with their dealerships . notwithstanding you have plenty of grounds for complaint. The finance company could also be brought into play as effectively they have a say on the state of...

I’m sure Dean Hunter at www.peugeotparts.co.uk will have one. I’ve known him for many years, good bloke. He will also give you advice and tips about doing the job.He is a Peugeot Boffin.

If this is for your vehicle VIN ending 475, then your gearbox is:

moo gbox.PNG

Original PSA Part: 2222FJ, (CP 17X77 -CT 19X17), Marking (DM4G) DM47
Exchange PSA Part: 2223LW (CP 17X77 -CT 19X17) Marking DM4G DMD7 (DMD7) DM47

You'll find reference to the markings above within the code you mentioned, but google on 2222FJ or 2223LW and you...

Ah, intriguing, thanks!
Mine is a 2017 model first registered in Sweden in May of that year, it has the Euro 6, 1.6 bluehdi engine.

From a manufacturing point of view I guess it would make sense if there was only one basic loom, or at least only a small number of variants, rather than wiring each car individually for the particular options it was...
