Hello
I have a peugeot partner 1.9d 2006
The gearbox is grinding like buggery.
Ive been looking for a second hand replacement but there seems to be a lot of different codes starting with 20T...ie 20TA...20TB...and so on up to 20TE...they all have another couple of numbers at the end.
Are the codes chronological....would 20TE be a later version?
Would any of these boxes fit my van or do the codes have to match?
Thanks
peugeot partner 2006...1.9D

The different codes go with different models they were fitted to. Usually each code refers to a different set of gear ratios, so you need to check that the ratio is suitable for your vehicle.
There may also be other differences such as the presence or absence of a speedometer drive.

If this is for your vehicle VIN ending 475, then your gearbox is:
Original PSA Part: 2222FJ, (CP 17X77 -CT 19X17), Marking (DM4G) DM47
Exchange PSA Part: 2223LW (CP 17X77 -CT 19X17) Marking DM4G DMD7 (DMD7) DM47
You'll find reference to the markings above within the code you mentioned, but google on 2222FJ or 2223LW and you should see plenty of results.
