So i did a px my old 307sw 2002 reg for a 207 1.6hdi 2010
Reason ? i wanted a lighter car smaller engine lower tax so ive cut my road tax nearly £200 pa halved my emissions & lowered my insurance , hope ive done the right thing
I will post here about everything re this car.
Was told the fluid pouch needed changing
Diagbox informed me it had 200mls left so new pouch ordered and fitted now ecu reads 1.1L
Due to the mileage it had to have 100mls injected into the dpf
Which was done taken for an hours run at a constant 50 @ 2500 rpm , dpf read clean from 80% before this was carried out
Miles 128000.
New Eolys fluid pouch fitted programed & primed date,4.4.23
Pervious bag was split & made a lovely mess which was fun to clean half a box of latex gloves used too.

Looks smart
2010 = I'm not sure if that is new enough to be after the switch to 8 valve DV6 1.6 HDi, or the original 16 valve variety. I think also the 207 could be had with it in both 90bhp and 110bhp variants (of either 8 or 16v units)
But if the 16v then check the injector clamp nuts aren't loose (and possibly follow my experimental M7 Nyloc nuts alternative to the standard nuts of you like)

This is 92bhp also modified turbo oil feed pipe the fuel filter has a cartridge that costs just 17£ & it on the rear left of the engine it drives nice feels bigger than what it is and is much lighter than the old 307sw i px against this , i did well with the 307 and it payed me back very healthy & i say thanks to the 307sw you was a good car

EBay, could not find them locally.
Check it's the 16v though - I've no direct experience but think the injector mounting arrangement is different on the later 8 valve version.

£2.94 for ten of them (two per injector so need 8 - so a couple of extra to drop somewhere inaccessible in the engine bay!

My clamp bolts are like my old 2.0hdi type
Bottom caption should be for the top
Part service today was beat by the rain
Air & fuel filter done plus checking of the dpf all good.
Oil change when next dry.

Ah yes see what you mean, a Torx head bolt rather than an Allen key head nut

So 207 needs new gear box lip , drive shaft oil seal , why do people change the clutch kit but hardly renew the drive shaft seal ? Lazy , stupidness or stulazyness ?

If so it'll be a BE gearbox. I'll look up the seals in a bit as I've changed them on various BE gearboxes previously.
They are available on eBay, very quick search, might not be the cheapest:

It's possible to get driveshafts in and out without wrecking these seals with care. Unfortunately the care bit is in short supply!!

Yes 5 speed.
If so it'll be a BE gearbox. I'll look up the seals in a bit as I've changed them on various BE gearboxes previously.
