Which engine 2018 Boxer?

Good evening! I’ve just joined this group hoping for some help. Apologies I’m looking for help as a first post.

I have a 2018 boxer I was ripped off with needing a head gasket and possibly a new head. Is there an easy way to get the engine code from the VIN number? I’ve tried decoding it but just keep hitting problems so I must be doing something wrong. More than happy to pay someone to do it if needed.
