Two years ago I was forced to change rear hydraulic pipes on my ’09 x7 2.2HDi cause one of them leaks. Whereas the pipes was unavailable to buy here I decided to create substitute from original. I removed the rubber flap, and drilled six 5 mm(?) holes to the cap.
Not sure about the drill size (dont remember), but when you remove the rubber flap, you can see good places for the holes from the inside of the cap.

Usually the only reason they stop suddenly when running is cam belt failure... although it would be odd if it ran on Easy Start. Easy enough to whip the top belt cover off and have a look - or even just open the oil filler and get someone to watch the cam shaft whilst you crank it and check it's going round.

After getting my new car I always want to make it quieter. I've just been out tonight and sound tested it on 2 routes, I hold the phone in my left hand.

1) A drive at a steady 45mph in the centre lane of a 50mph road. Max Esave on. Average 78Db.

2) A few laps at the end of a tesco car park travelling at 10mph, electric mode. Average DB 65Db....

I have a 2014 C5X7 where I suspect that the torque converter has gone bad as I have power loss on acceleration from stand-still or low speeds, with a mechanical rumble every time it changes gear 1 through 3. i have a 1987 Citroen BX 19TZD Turbo with a XUD9 DHY engine from a second gen Peugeot 405.

The question is, when driving 130 on the highway it likes to raise the engine temps to around 90 and when going up a hill for a longer period sometimes it jumps up to 95 or higher so i stop to let it cool off.

I’m having an issue with a 2024 Citroen relay van. It’s a 2.2 DW12RUD (4HB).

Basically the adblue system has decided to stop working. Currently display 612 miles left and flashes up check adblue system.

That was the first thing I did. Says it’s cleared but the fault is still there and the countdown timer is still the same
I think all you did was to clear the DTC. You need to go into the engine ECU and look for a section called Pack Repair or similar. Then look for réinitialisé nox, or similar. That will restart the mileage countdown.

It's just occured to me while doing some research and looking at photos, my car has an ECU on top of the battery and quite a few others don't. Do you think the ECU itself could be the culprit? Also I have tried a brand new 5 pin glow plug relay (turns out it's the same as a ZX diesel) but it made no difference at all annoyingly.

I finally got around to fitting them a few weeks ago and it was a surprisingly enjoyable job.
Connecting the offside to the brake unit was a bit challenging but I worked it out after taking a couple of pics with my phone so I understand what I was fiddling with.
The cables were absolutely perfect, so thanks very much again :)

As many of you probably know there is a square plastic plug in the left rear wheel arch.
Which disintegrates over time and lets gravel and salt into the sill.

I have, with the help of my friend made an STL file, and printed one to see if it works.

The part no is 96 130 325 and is still availible in some places. But i've had bad experience...

Can anybody say what can be problem.
Headlight works, but motor not turn that.
By hand i can adjust.

Can wrong ballast be problem, because i now that right side ballast is reaplace.

Did that ballast replace some how tell to car.

I have the 2.2 HDI DW12TED4. It's as good as any other engine out there. Especially handy if your fully loaded or towing. It pulls like a truck. I would suggest test driving it up a very steep hill, it should keep accelerating steadily if it struggles it could be a sign of the dpf starting to block.
