Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2016 Stop Start Button issue

Hey everyone just a quickie regarding my parents C4 Grand Picasso 2016 I am due to drop it back off to them tomorrow after a few repairs done in the last few weeks for them, I have just fitted a nice Car Play / Android Auto box into the car for them today as it desperately needed it

When dismantling the dash parts etc we noticed a plastic bracket was already snapped so someone had been in previously just thought nothing of it really until testing the unit before putting it all back, we found the ignition wouldn't start and was dead. Tried lots of different things top no avail

Turned out the Stop Start button is loose and will only start when the back is pushed in at the same time as its loose, The only way to resolve the issue temporarily was to pack a small piece of cardboard into the back slot and hold it in place only then the car ignition works and the car starts as normal

Has anyone else had issues with the stop start button being loose and not starting the car ? From looking online I cant see any issues and the only time people have mentioned the button was when it was wearing away not because of a actual fault, they also say its a horrible job to replace just the button

I think i'm going to just order a second hand screen and unit with the button as one piece can anyone tell me if it will need any kind of coding or is it just a straight swap ?
