Ever owned one ? Any good? Faults ? Buy or avoid ?

Hello good forum,

I need a bit of help. I just realized that the leak I was looking for is coming from this hose:

I don't have any clue what it is called and where is it going? It seems like continuation of the PCV hose/valve. Anyone can help?

Good evening

Due to exhaustingly vague and ambiguous information I would like to ask for people’s experience of the following:

Citroen C4 space tourers/picaso
Citroen C5 aircross

I was looking at the space tourer and was getting close to looking for final choice when I came across:

‘Stellantis wet belt’.

I had no knowledge of this so I am...

Hello guys,
I have a C3 KFU 1.4 petrol 16v 2008 that has a very odd Aux belt tensioner.
kfu c3 aux belt tensioner.jpg

On the car its upside down vs this picture.

Question is. How am i supposed to release the tension on the belt with this tensioner. I tried turning the 15mm nut on the pulley wheel clockwise and it just started to turn, not...

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum but I'm sure I'll be popping on here now and then. My girlfriend has a Citoen ZX 3DR. The drivers side manual window regulator has broke and I've been trying to find a replacement for a while now. Havn't seen any 3DR ZXs being broken up at all only 5DR. The only regulators I can find are LH ones. Other than that...

I’ve fallen in love with the S1 again!

Failed its MOT in early March but due to health issues have not been able to get it sorted and MOT’ed again until today.

Ended up fitting new spheres all around as the diaphragms had gone on two spheres and they couldn’t be regassed.

Went for IFHS front comfort spheres and fitted a pair of 40 bar early...

Hi guys,
I am having a strange problem on C4 Picasso ABS (Mk2). I get the feeling through the brake pedal that ABS is pulsating the brakes at all speeds, in dry and non slippy conditions at all speeds. I have no ABS/ESP warnings and when i put Diagbox 9 on it, it claims to fail to communicate with ABS so i cannot find any faults via that method. I...

I'm going to attempt to recondition my rigidity regulator solenoid and was wondering what the sizes of the two o rings are incase they need to be replaced.

I've been told multiple different sizes such as 33, 19, 16 mm inside diameter for the larger outside one and anything between 27 and 3 for the inside.

Just wanted to know what it actually...

What is the name of this metal clip located on trunk/boot door liner? Or similar that does the job. I can find 100 diffrent types but not this one.

Hey guys, I've done a search and surprisingly couldn't find a topic on main battery replacement. There must be one.... Surely?

Anyway, my battery is on its last legs (50% ish and stop /start not kicking in), a decent cold spell will probably see it off with me working permanent night shift and forever starting it in the dark!

I've sourced a...

I bought a Citroen C3 2002 1.4 model used in 2020 and almost ever since I bought it it has been saying it's overheating.

The temperature on dashboard is on 3 (middle-yellow) and suddenly goes on 5 (top-red) without passing from 4. After 1-2 minutes the temperature drops immediately to 3, again not passing from 4. If I remember correctly when the...

Could anyone help me out with a fuse/relay diagram. Would be much appreciated
Thanks

Hi All,

Engine (2.0 hdi RHH) is stalling seconds after turning on, the fuel line is full of air bubbles and I have to prime almost each day.
Has anyone changed the o-rings from fuel line connectors? The problem is somewhere on filter housing and connectors because before filter housing there are no bubbles.
Cheers!

Hi all, I have been trying to trace the cause of a knocking at the front end. It is mostly towards the RHS, tends to be on sharp downwards bumps but also seems in some way to be related to engine torque and LH turns.....

I have replaced in recent months:

L& R lower control arms
L&R lower hub bush
L&R upper swivel balljoint
L&R lower swiver...

Hi I have a DW12RUD engine and I’m getting P0266 on cylinder 2 a few seconds after start with accompanying 1500rpm idle. I believe it’s doing that because it shuts off cylinder 2 as the other 3 injectors go to 1.00mg flow.
I have replaced the injector and also coded it in.
I have checked the wiring.
I have checked the camshaft, valves and...

Hello all

I’m sure it’s been discussed before but not great at finding things online. I want to fit a tachometer (rev counter) and a temp gauge to my Citroen ax 1.0 (1994). Is there exciting wiring to tap on to for this ? I’ve heard that behind the glove box there is a plug and you have to run one wire to get rev counter working? And for the...

Folks,

Had to put the S2 Xantia back on the road. It's been stood since March.

As some may recall, I was very fortunate to find a cheap set of repro strut tops.

I'll be bankrupt at this rate with the amount of LHM I have used since Saturday! Just under 4 litres.

So here is the story:-

On Friday, I put 2 litres of LHM in.

By Saturday morning,...

Hi all.

After changing the bottom radiator hose and refilling the coolant system I get the above warning lights. I note that below the hose as it enters the engine there's a mechanism that looks as if it's hydraulic in nature. I may have disturbed it or the electrical connections. Tight space and The wire may have been strained.

Hi,

I'm about to replace the right side engine mounts (upper and lower) on my C5 MY2013 2.2 HDi but the lower one seems to be very hard to find, regarding the part number.
According to my repair manual the number is 1844 E4, but that one is very rare/out of stock everywhere. The one mounted on the car right now has the number 9685847080, which...

Hi can anyone help me here.

I've changed the breather valve assembly and I still get quite a bit of blowby via the oil cap

Hello,
I have the following problem with my Citroen C5 2.2 HDi (150 kW).
When the car idles for a longer period (15–20 minutes), it loses power once I start driving.
There are two scenarios:

The car cannot exceed 3000 RPM (even in N or P) and it gains speed and revs very slowly.

It accepts revs, but the acceleration is extremely slow.

It is...

Hello,
I have done a few searches and seem to only find answers for vans that actually have parking sensors fitted.

Hello, I am new on the forum, I'm writing this in the hope of finding some help.

I am the owner of a nice Xantia that unfortunately is leaking LHM at quite a slow pace, it seems like the leak is located below, left and forward (if that makes sense), closer to the rear than the front wheel. I think the first owner of the vehicle actually tried to...

Hi everyone, last November my 2012 Berlingo van with 102k miles came up with the Eolys warning.
I'd been waiting for that so it was no surprise.
I refilled the tank and then set about resetting the counter with diagbox 7.????
I have to admit I found the process very confusing, I fumbled about and finally got to a point where the warning went out....

We will shortly change our 2011 C3 Picasso for a similar car made in 2015 which is the facelift version. On the 2011 car you bring up the trip computer on the central screen by pressing the button on the end of the wiper stalk on the right side of the steering wheel. You can then scroll through the trips using the same button and also reset them....

Hi all. I have a Citroen C5 Tourer Mk3 (58 plate) and the bonnet catch is failing to lock fully. The catch part, where all the cabling is, is working ok.
