just bought a Synergie HDi 2000. I was warned by previous owner that the brakes Lock On whenever they feel like it.
Towing it home last night and after about 30 minutes, sure enough, the tow car slowly ground to a halt.

Checked the Synergie and all 4 wheel were locked solid and smoking hot.

Had to wait until they had cooled and then...

The problem with hydraflush is that it is not as 'greasy' as LHM, so (while it helps clean out the pipework etc.) after a while (3,000 miles +) things could start seizing up. However, in my experience it normally takes less than 2 hours to remove the hydraflush, clean the tank and filters, pop in LHM+, get the levels correct and bleed the brakes....

just noticed that when i first ran it had a oil leaking from what looks like the injectors, there's a pool of oil there

HI, ive replaced the DPF on my citoren C8 tonight, reset the additive ECU, anything else i need to do, the label on the new DPF suggested i need to regenerate it but surely the car will do that now ive taken it up the dual track a few times? car seems to run smoother.

I fitted new front discs and pads to the Activa thanks to invaluable advice from XAC and RichardW.
But it failed on little or no effort on rear brakes the day before Good Friday.
I haven't had any time to sort it since apart from WD40 all over the calipers and driving it doing some 'emergency stops'

Any suggestions please.
The car is making a low knocking noise when going over bumps. (Even small ones) and it doesn't go away until at least 50mph.
It doesnt make the knock when you drive off with the suspension lowered. But does when it goes up.
Any ideas?

what or how is the best way to go about it mines the key that is sort of offset towards top where it goes to a key ring loop.
