Hello

First post here! I recently bought a 2009 C3 Picasso 1.4VTi from a used car dealer. It appears to be missing its battery and ECU covers. I have not seen a picture of these covers, so do not know what to look for when scanning car parts listings. Can any 1.4 VTi owners post a picture of their battery covers, please?

Secondly, I noticed a...

Hi everyone,
My car has a strange issue that the Android auto does not hear me when I speak to the car, hello Citroën doesn't work either and I'm not sure if it's an issue with the microphone or whether it's some setting I haven't done or is incorrect. I have tried it with Apple phones and it's still the same, so it must be a firmware issue or...

I forgot this had one when I went to see it and to be honest I nearly didn't take because of that, didn't say to David though.

But the more I am in it the more I hate it. If I want to use a handbrake I will, I dunt want it coming on when the engine stops.

I really think I should just sell it as i can't get used to a saloon plus needs a few...

I have a 2016 Berlingo, VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Suddenly, the display was limited to what is shown in the pictures. The radio won't work. None of the diagnostics work. Occasionally, when I first turn on the ignition, the display will show Initialize pressure but does not give me access. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
could anyone help me locate the evaporator sensor on my 2000 xsara? The part number is 6445HF.
I've looked under the glove box and behind the central console, but I was only able to find 2 interior temperature sensors (654464W).

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Today I found this behing the air filter box, struggle a little to put it out but is out. Anyone know where is this from?

Does anyone know what witchcraft this is? 🤣 After putting the windshield back on (it had taken off at the top) they removed the glass and put it back with the new glue. However, this noise appeared. And it only disappears when the car is accelerating or accelerating even stopped, when stopped it makes this vibration. You can only hear it from the...

Hi!
The hood on my 2018 c4 II hatchback is visibly resonating when statioary. As I rev up the engine it usually subsides. What can be the issue?

Hi!
I Have a C4 II 2018 and in the last few months I've been hearing a strange knocking noise coming from under the car though I can't pinpoint it well. It usually doesn't happen in the morning when I start the car, but it will come up after 10-15 min of driving. I couldn't tie it to any specific behaviour, though it seems to happen less when...

Hi,

Hello,

Error code P0299 Boost pressure too low appears more and more frequently - can be deleted - no engine warning light - no emergency mode.

According to the error, it should be the front turbo.

Does anyone know this error and/or is there any advice on how to fix this error on the C6 – is it perhaps just a leak in a part?

Many thanks in...

I have a C4 Grand Picasso II with a little play in the steering which is advisory in this years MOT but presumably will be worse by next knowing my luck.

The garage say it needs a replacement steering rack. Their suppliers can't get one, will refurbish mine if I send it off and wait 3 weeks which I obviously would prefer not to do.

So I'm...

Hi, I have a 2017 relay van 2.0 enterprise Dw10fud engine. I’ve had the head skimmed and pressure tested but been told I need the block skimmed too, is that correct?

Also where the big ends were knocking it’s damaged the crankshaft and piston end cap, I was also told I can’t get crankshaft reground as it’s too soft, any truth in this also?
Thank...

I have a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso with manual front seats.
Recently I noticed that both my front seats are fixed in place and will not move in either direction. I have cleaned out the runners as much as possible as well as greasing them.
My local garage has had it in for a week and have been unable to find what is causing this. There is an added...

Hello!

After much research, I've concluded that the blower motor resistor has stopped working on my C4 Grand Picasso -15(LHD). Ordered a replacement, found a great how to-video on YouTube, and went to work trying to reach it. I am however struggling with removing the glove box. I've found the 3 plastic screws below, the three screws on the upper...

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding long-term parking at an angle — I’ve already asked it on the C6 Owners forum about a month ago, but received no replies, so I thought I would see if someone here would happen to know, as I imagine it's also relevant to other hydraulic Citroëns. I’m copying it below;

This might be another unusual...

Thought I’d share this:

Hi there, was wondering about the usage of this red cable which was sitting loosely near the BSI, I keep reading conflicting stories that it's a spare 12v line for aftermarket parts. The other is saying it's part of the ignition process. There is no where that I can see that seats this cable.

The vehicle cranks but doesn't turn over, was...

Hi All,

I recently changed my brake pads on my C4. It has an electric hand brake so I had to use a diagnostic machine to release the callipers.

Unfortunately a few weeks after I have got a braking fault which has disabled my handbrake (meaning I can not engage it anymore). It is coming up with parking brake fault stop vehicle in the dashboard....

Good morning,
I'm praying someone can help me.
I have had an error code pop up over the past week, for a dpf fault, error code P2452 to be exact. I am trying the cheapest options first, i.e Dpf cleaner/unblocked, but I have a feeling the dpf sensor needs replacing. I found a fairly cheap one online, but multiple attempts to locate it in the...

Hello, I am new to this forum but have found many very helpful tips and information which has saved me a great deal of time and money.

I have a rattly noise coming from the lower end on the off side of engine which I have been told could be the pulley which has a damper and when worn could cause this problem.
When I remove the pulley I believe...

Hello friends, I'm writing from Türkiye. I have a 2011 Citroën C3. I enjoy driving it. Today, my outside temperature sensor malfunctioned. It's showing various inaccurate values. I couldn't find the sensor directly in Türkiye. Could you tell me the correct part number? VIN code: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Anyone had one or similar replaced recently, new shape Dispatch on 67 reg, got auto wipers so maybe a sensor somewhere on it. I had a Berlingo screen replaced in about 2018 for £140 by autoglass but I'm guessing its gone up a bit since then, and I had to help him lift it in.

Can some one explain to me the purpose of the reinforced hose on this part and why can't it be straight or coiled, as there is no evidence to suggest it moves in any way

Hi
We bought a used C3 last week and have been very happy with her, however after doing 400 miles total to work and back in that time, she has developed a noise. It began as a chattering sound which gets louder and faster if you rev the engine, is worse when she is in neutral gear but can still be heard when driving in gear. The weird thing is...

I've been struggling about 2 hours now with the timing belt from he11 on this car. It's my first Citröen, leaning towards my last as well!
No, frustration and jokes aside (I really like the car!), it seems impossible to get the new timing belt on.
I have changed timing belts on other brands before (Volvo, Fiat...) but those wasn't near as...

Hi guys,

Thinking of getting a C15 van diesel. My Grandad had one and always remember it being very reliable and spacious in the back. Plus it was the first vehicle I was driving after passing my test for about 1 year!!

My question is will they run on veg oil? I have only seen Lucas pumps. Is there any on the XUD7 or DW8?? Or is it possible to...

Earlier today I removed my Air Doser and whilst I was there I decided to peer into the inlet manifold.

I'll let the video speak for itself:

So there is obviously a lot of carbon / oil build-up in the inlet manifold. I shudder to think of what the valve ports look like

This is by no means unusual, the combination of EGR soot with the...

Hi everyone, I have a Citroen C4 grand picasso 1.8 petrol, and it has a permanent fault with the ABS system I cant clear.
