What is this on the rear left behind the rear wheel? Like an exhaust? Is not the exhaust cause the exhaust is on the right side. The car is 1.6 HDI late 2015.

Ohhh, maybe, but did that need the tube? for what? evap?mickthemaverick wrote: 12 Oct 2025, 12:45 Not certain but I would think that may be the cover for your Eolys fluid (DPF additive) tank if not the tank itself!![]()
I would think is very unlikely that a DS3 would have an additional diesel fired heater, normally only found in larger vehicles, Even when they do the exhaust is tiny. See pic below for a heater from a C8.joaocpereira wrote: 12 Oct 2025, 14:24 In other forum someone told be tha could be a diesel heater (maybe like webasto on audi), but if it is how can I use that since i don't have the remote control for that?
Yeah, is to big to be that.wheeler wrote: 12 Oct 2025, 21:51I would think is very unlikely that a DS3 would have an additional diesel fired heater, normally only found in larger vehicles, Even when they do the exhaust is tiny. Not sure on this one, do you have a better pic showing location? where does the other end go to?

I am not convinced, why would Citroen fit something like that behind the bumper ? If the bumper is pushed in it would force it forwards. There is nothing like it on our Cactus and that shares the same floor as the C3.Paul-R wrote: 13 Oct 2025, 13:40 It looks like an original fitment to me judging by the slight corrosion present.
PaulC5 wrote: 13 Oct 2025, 13:14 I suspect a previous owner has put it on. It looks to run inside the rear bumper fastened on at the bumper crash bar bracket (not sure of its proper name). If in a crash you might find the crumple part of the bracket does not work right and the modification might push in and cause extra damage to the bodywork/wheel arch. Our Cactus recently had a slight rear bump and the bracket crumpled a bit so was replaced in the repair.
I would remove it since it probably does not do anything. If kept, the insurance company might think it is a modification so would need to be told.
Is not OEM, thats for sure.Paul-R wrote: 13 Oct 2025, 13:40 It looks like an original fitment to me judging by the slight corrosion present.
