Have the above model and upon changing the battery it has refused to start, upon turning the key the starter motor sounds like it wants to engage but it doesn't turn the flywheel. Battery voltage is fine being a new battery and was tested, removed the starter motor and the Bendix shoots out and spins fine, there's power to the starter and bridging...

Since you have more problems, you have to start from one, so that will solve some other problems. I suggest replacing the outside temperature sensor in the door mirror first. That sensor doesn't cost much and it's easier to do than test the installation.

Citroen have not issued service schedule booklets for a long time, only one for service stamps. Instead they give a one page sheet with the schedule which includes the oil spec. If you do not have this then it can be obtained from your Citroen dealer at no cost.

I don't think it's particularly gearboxes are being made (cheaper and) weaker, more that we're getting more output from diesels than days of old, e.g. peak torque for:
1.9 litre XUD9TE = 201 Nm at 2250 rpm (source Haynes Citroen ZX manual)

Versus

1.6 HDi DV6 110 = 245 Nm at 2000 rpm (Haynes 307 manual)

Hello,

I own a 2011 2.0 HDI hydractive 3+ C5. I had heavy steering. The heaviness of the steering wheel was increasing when the weather temperature goes up 15 degrees. After a while went off completely. It does not turn at all. There is steering wheel faulty on the screen.

- Battery changed
- Alternator regulator checked. Bearing and brushes...

Good evening all I’m hoping for some help and advice, I’ve got a 2010 Citroen Berlingo 1.6, it’s a non start, I’ve plugged my scanner in, and I’m not able to connect to the ECU, I’ve checked the usual suspect, fuse, all fine with that, I’m just wondering if someone could help on maybe what wires to check at the ECU to see if it’s getting a 12v...

C3 weird noise while idling

Greetings all, I own a Citroen C3 1.4i, 2005 and suddenly the car started making a weird noise while idling it will run fine and then suddenly make that noise while the RPM drops (like the engine shakes itself), also makes that noise sometimes while driving but rarely.

I don’t know if it’s connected but just as this started happening the heating...

Hi guys, I'm sure somebody has had this issue already... Or can at least point me in the right direction.

My c3 2007 1.4hdi desire won't start. I get a Single solenoid click from the bsm when the key is turned.
So far the car has had:
New battery
New starter motor
Replacement bsm
Replacement bsi
ECU immobiliser unlocked

Hi
I have this code and do not have a clue what it is. Google, YouTube all point to the vvt solenoid or oil control valve. Do these engines have one? The DV6TED4?
It appeared when accelerating hard from 50-70 on the motorway and the dash lit up, service light and all.
Any direction appreciated

Hi my C4 Picasso infotainment unit doesn’t seem to like being connected to my iPhone via Bluetooth. Everything else seems ok but when playing Spotify tracks via Bluetooth after a minute or so, there is a pop and the screen goes black and reboots itself. I reconnect and the same thing happens, any suggestions?

EAT6 transmission oil change

Hi, is it okay to change the oil in the transmission assuming it's never been done before? The car shifts perfectly fine, the only potential symptom is a slight judder once every 10 times going from P and down, other than that it's okay. The car has 274000km (2013 Citroen C5 2.0 HDI).

Unfortunately I’ve had a rat living in my engine, today my car lost power and struggling to gain speed. I took it for a diagnostics and it shown the diagnosis’s in pic attached so we assumed it was the injector. Not 100% sure as I'm not up on the modern stuff but that wiring is certainly an issue and if I had to guess it looks like it's going to #4 injector.

Edit- having reviewed the diag photo I'm pretty confident the wiring pictured is in fact for injector #4 & potentially other damage in the same area. It's entirely possible the power steering/ABS...

I just checked more closer and I see that on 2pin big cabels I have about 14v (engine runing). On 5pin plug there just 3 cables brown,green and red.
Brown have 14v
Green about 2.36v
Red about 2.5v.
And lexia can't communicate with PS pump ecu.

Hey everyone!

I’ve been chasing a fuel-related issue on my C5 X7 2.0 HDi for the last few months, and I’m hoping someone here might have some ideas.

I keep getting the following fault codes on and off:

P0094 (small fuel leak)

P0087 (fuel pressure too low)

P0183 (fuel temp sensor high input)

Sometimes it’s just P0094, sometimes P0094 +...

I used a diagnostic tool, that scans for codes, but nothing came up. The tool is from the cheap ones for Ali Express. My friend has a laptop with some diagnostic tools and programs, im gonna go to him on Monday, so i will tall u what will pop up. Those are licenced programs.
