Glove box C5 MK1

Hi, I need to remove the glove box on the passenger side of the C5 MK1. I have a VDO navigation system. I removed the DVD Rom, unscrewed the two top screws, then all the torx screws around the perimeter of the box, but I can't remove it. Inside the box, there is a black sheet metal that the rubber pin of the DVD Rom fits into. Is there any instructions for removing the box? I need to replace the VDO unit. Thank you

I just removed the glove box on my C5 Facelift. Easy to take out all the screws all around, but on the bottom right hand side (close to the centre console) one more screw is inserted from behind. That stops the glove box from coming out. Almost impossible to see, but feel around for it. Maybe yours is similar.
I know nothing at all about the VDO thing. If that makes your situation different then this might not be any help, sorry!
