Citroen berlingo van 2015 vacum problem

Unread post by Reinold »

Can someone tell me where goes VAC in and VENT? The middle one goes to actuator. I did like the diagram says. Big rubber one goes to left, actuator to the middle and the this one to the right. Problem is when i touch the thin one on the right, it has vacum and the big rubber thing does not. If i connected vacum one to left then the actuator rod started to move but the engine fault came back.

I would suggest the VAC goes next to the mounting bracket and the VENT next to the blue clip. However that is only my interpretation from logic looking at the unit. :)

I bought the car 2 months ago and the vac hose is connected to the blue clip. I drove around like that till the engine light came on. I thought solenoid was busted, so i replaced it. Now i think hoses were switched. But the light came back anyway. Im new to this. All vacum stuff.

You will need to get the fault cleared on Diagbox or other high end tester as it may have logged a permanent fault. :)

Yeah i did that. Fault came back. After that i placed the hoses back like they were on the old solenoid. So vacum hose is on the right side and vent on the left. Even tho logic says they have to be other way around.
