Does anyone know how to get the system "primed" after the pump is removed/line is disconnected? And how much fluid goes in the line?
I am able to use Diagbox to "Check of the additive pump adding flow" which spits out about 10-15ml (it's supposed to spit out 20ml)
Would 15ml be approximately the right amount to prime the lines?
Further details:
- The car had the pump disconnected for a long time by the previous owner. It's possible that as a result, an incongruency developed between the ECU and the FAP pump. Now, every time I go to read the parameters in the fuel additive pump via Diagbox, the ECU displays a fault communication error (U0118 87 Multiplexed additive pump - Missing information). This can be cleared and only appears when using Diagbox to interrogate the pump.
- I don't seem to be able to do "configuration" or "repair" operations on the pump, such as refilling the reservoir. It throws an error which suggests to me that maybe it wants to connect to the Citroen servers... I think this is a limitation of the "patched" Diagbox 9.129. (can anyone confirm if/how they get around to configure the pump with Diagbox?)
- However, I was able to do the "repair" action to tell it I had fitted a new pump; I thought this could "reprogram" the parameters in the pump and stop the Fault code from appearing again. The operation completed, the pump works, and the "amount of additive in the additive tank" updates. However, the status still says "Additive pump priming status: Not started" even after driving. Indeed the lines need to be primed now that they were disconnected for diagnostics.
- I have a Citroen C4 Space Tourer (ex Picasso) 2019 - engine DW10FC 2.0 BlueHDI. The ECU is the DCM7.1A. The pump is a PADDGO_INERGY 1.08L BVH2 - 9800323880. VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] .
Any advice much appreciated.

As you have posted the same question in two places I will add a link here to the other post and then lock this thread to prevent confusion and duplication. The other thread can be found at : viewtopic.php?p=864540#p864540
