How do I remove the bracket on the rear of the height corrector? Anyone got any good ideas please?

IMG_0609.jpeg

I’ve done some years ago but cannot recall how to do it.

Could I / SHOULD I clamp the “camshaft” in some wooden blocks in a vice and use that to remove the bracket.

Or should I just try and clean the rear diaphragm...

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for the installation instructions for the channel electrical harness 9428F6.

Thanks in advance for your help 👍

Had a close one with the electric tailgate on my C5 X7 Tourer at a fuel station today. When locking the doors to go to the pay booth, by mistake I pressed the remote control centre button which opened the tailgate. Luckily the dogs didn’t jump out as they often do. I remember reading on here that it’s possible to re-programme the r/c to accept a...

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a problem trying to replace the struts of the tailgate on my Citroen C5. I removed the trim, removed the left side strut from the ball stud by pulling the tab and then unscrewed the strut from the ball stud connector

Here are a couple of pictures:

I could use some suggestions on how to remove this:

Hi

Anyone know how to remove the boot release button that's above the rear number plate in the bumper? Mine seems to be stuck in causing the boot to open when you open the car with the remote.

I don't use the button in the bumper so just want to remove it to solve the issue. I've tried to pull the rubber button down and out but it feels solid....

Hi all, I need to get a spare wheel nut cover for one that has gone missing. The first lot I bought from eBay were 17mm and too small. Rather than randomly buying different sizes, anyone able to confirm if I need 20mm, 22mm or something else?

Thank you.

I'm happy to say my Xantia has passed it's MOT today.
1.8 petrol 23 years old, 182.393 miles.
Thanks to all for the help with the brake pipes and flaring tool.

GC4P B78 2015, Under the steeringwheel are two stalks, the LH is flasher and in the end is a pushbutton, with no function! Hi all

Wondering if anyone knows how the 'Adaptive' rear Torque Mount for the HDi V6 (2.7 and 3.0) engines works?
This type of mount seems to be fitted across the 407, C5 and C6.

From researching the part, it has both an electrical and hose (I think vacuum?) connection - pics below.
Is this just a sensor that monitors the displacement of the...

Dear Colleagues,

due to the P20E8 on my wife's C4 BlueHDi 100 I opened the AdBlue tank and replaced the broken temperature sensor (yellow wires, for the tank heating I assume. Measured 60 Ohm instead of 10K). After that, the P20E8 error could have been cleared and the CAN communication works again. The pump builds up pressure during driving,...

After some VNT trouble last year I have the turbo off my DS5 hdi163 (RHH) on the bench for cleaning the VNT vanes. While I'm at it I'd like to test the VNT actuator position sensor as well but it seems I don't seem to get anything sensible out of the three pins.

Does anyone know how to test the position sensor that sits on top of the actuator? I...

Hi all, first post. My CX is difficult to start in the morning but when I come back to it later it starts fine. The main issue though is that the car is fine up to 35 mph but after that it starts lurching and hesitating very noticeably. However when I kick down on the accelerator it hurtles along without any problems but as soon as I drop to...

Yesterday I changed engine and EAT8 transmission oil (C5 Aircross 1.5 bluehdi). I want to share my opinions about that. I had 3 1.5 bluehdi engine before and used many engine oils. Yesterday I bought Ravenol VMP 5w30 (I prefer 5w30 instead of 0w30 because when I use 0w30 on 1.5 YHZ, engine is running very loud, it seems watery to me ) Ravenol VMP...
