Hi, my check adblue system warning light has come on, despite being full, and it's started a countdown until the engine won't restart.
I've had a read, and have ordered the Forte adblue exhaust crystal preventer, but have a couple of questions...
My adblue tank is full, so I'm worried I won't have the capacity to add this - is there a (relatively simple) way tho syphon a couple of hundred mls out?
Once added, how long does it take to work (so how do I tell if this is the issue - I have a warning with only 80 miles or so left...)
If this works, should I add this regularly, as a prevention, or only if the light comes on?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks
Adblue warning

Re: Adblue warning
Welcome along.
I doubt an additive will do much - if the warning is on, the system is not running so it will only sit in the tank ( and I'm fairly sceptical about them anyway!). You need to get it on a diag machine, reset the denox system, check the fault codes and then watch as it warms up and tries to run to see where the fault is.
