Chis i have come to really like that white 16v of yours, its no MK1 but she still looks damn nice, especialy on those wheels i think they made a big difference but then ive never liked the vsx trims. Are you still thinking of selling her? or was it just a thought?

take the activa to the track.

the v6 is fun and pulls well, and the hydractive does ok but it leans too much in the corners and only momentarily did I leave second to third on the one straight. Bedford was really good for tracking especially first time because its an airfield, very wide lots of run off and space to over take.

One possible concern about these and I was thinking about this a few years ago too...

With non-volatile memory which is going to hold essential ecu data, now some of these are getting on these nv chips are going to start to fail, I can see this causing problems in the future...

I've always just used the green type (Peugeot: 9735E8) , although I think it might have changed codes or been discontinued (not sure but I think its more a blueish colour now and a different number)

I don't like the long life reddish stuff personally.

I've had two Omegas and to be honest they put me right of of Vauxhall's for good. I just got a couple of dodgy ones so I think if I were to buy another I would pay the extra for a well cared for example, there are far far too many sheds out there. The V6 is not very sprightly due to the weight of the car. Dare I say the autoboxes really blunt...

I dont think that is possible with a xantia but then ive never done one, but it looks like there is no way to get the matrix out with the dash in, its just in a real pita place, the xm should have a section of the heater box cut out to get the new matrix into its cassett type slot without bending the corners of the fins down a bit but there is no...

The 2.1TD manaul is the rarest of them all, in diesel form, as most are autos.

Well im led to believe that 2.1s are easier to work on and tend to go on to 300K without many problems at all. I suppose the 2.1TD has more space in the engine bay and is less complex too. That red one has a low 59K miles, it drives so nicely too, i wouldnt really...

That leak, Jim, must have been past the pushrod end seal. Could have been ugly if fingers had been in the way, given the pressure applied! Mate has a Ford ute that loses steering fluid pretty much that fast.

I'm more looking at the leak type you can't see; Malcolm's comments make sense, but I would be interested to know if there's supposed to be...

I get mine from glassesdirect. Prescription glasses but a lot cheaper.

I had them on the Xantia and they were superb, very rarely wiping when they shouldn't or not wiping when the were needed.

The ones on the 807 are not quite as good, sometimes give a wipe when there's nothing there, I put this down to the sensor being at the bottom of the screen and getting drips flying up off the wiper arms/bonnet.
