Spring

Unread post by John Plum »

It's going to be an early spring. My boy saw two robins in the same patch last week, during all the icy weather. You know, they are murderously territorial.

WARNING: This is not a Met Forecast, and could even be true.

Sorry this should not have been a new blog topic. You may delete it dear moderator: I would if I knew How.

What happens if you see three in your garden as I did last week? Blizzards?
The best method where forecasts actually work with any accuracy is through
using a thing called a "window" - the rest are just making it up after spending
half the bulletin telling you what you've just had.

No worries John,

I've moved it to a better place..

Interesting observation :D I see a Robyn very frequently but she seems to have no bearing on the weather at all  She is territorial though

All she has a fair bearing on is my bank balance, as does her sister

My daughters, in case you're wonder what I'm blathering on about...

Good to see you back in these parts John :D

Summer shows no signs of abatement here. You can't have the warm weather until we're done with it, sorry.

I've not yet heard from jgra1 but he must be somewhere in Oz!

That's right, we hate it really. We just love and adore a cold, grey, damp, drizzly day like we've had today

Something you never see in your neck of the woods I guess Adam

Wanna swap?

Yes It`s almost tropical now. Temps stayed at 6 above all night in Glasgow.

I think the birds are just out in celebration of the lull. Feb. can be real winter.
