Was it for sale? S1's are getting rarer and it'd be worth my mentioning it to
the lads on the Xm forum!? This comes up as a 2.1 SED diesel so will have
all the bells and whistles as can be seen with the leather seats.

They are very unusual distinctive car now among all the blandified modern
rubbish. Some more nice (motivational!? ;)) piccies here:

Looks a little sorry for itself that one, i hope its looking better and road going now, though there are less and less now.

Thats a nice looking S2 that, i normally hate gold cars, but thhts not too bad and the only S2 ive seen that colour. If i remember correctly that was quite a high mileage 2.0 16v petrol, though it looked mint.

How does it look sorry for itself Chris!? Scuffs on the bumper!!???
Just because a hydrailic Cit sinks to it's tummy it appears to be on
it's last legs. Seems complete and has some tread on the tyre...

mind it's been unlicenced since October! :?

It just appeared to have been stood there a while. Not because it sinks, it only takes a day or so for that, our estate is a sinker. It does look in good contiotion actually, i just got the impression it had been there a while, though having looked again it probably hasnt as it seems to be blocking in a Sabb.

Some of the better pictures ive taken:

This is the best colour for an Xm in my opinion, Xantias look good this colour too, though its wasnt a very popular colour for some reason:

Hi Andrew,

You can more than LOOK at this XM :!:

You can actually buy it I've just spotted it on E-BAY :D
As I know you like to save some of the nicer pictures of XM's which appear on E-Bay or Auto-trader.
IIRC it was up for sale not too long ago so perhaps it didn't reach its reserve price on that occasion ?

The top two originally pictured above aren't mine although I've a carbon copy
of the green car and in fact thought the picture was mine! The grey L plater is
mine and the greeny grey is one of the nicest colours I've seen an Xm wear.
I believe the alloys are a genuine Cit accessory option or are they that almost
identical 5 spoked one!!? :? ;)

That looks a bit dodgy there Dean - you're not deliberately 4 wheel drifting it?
Is that the 'scene of the accident' picture?

I didnt know you had a S2 in Green Andrew, more additions?

Your right, and i cant remember actually seeing on in that grey/green colour, thats really very nice. Is it a later S1 colour - S1.5? Is that a 2.0 car Andrew? Ive got to say that is one of the nicest looking S1s, i do like that.

Do you still use your 2.5 S2 Andrew?

I think the 6 spokes are a Citroen accessory, ive seen a few others with those, dont you have a black S2 wearing those? I think the 5 spokes are TSW wheels, or they look very much similar.

Great pictures Dean, your car looks fantastic 8)

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying a green series 2 estate 2.1 manual.
150k and good straight body but within a day of first using it I managed
to burn out the clutch and swipe the front end off damaging the front
bumper, grille and lights... must be green cars being unlucky or
somesuch. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. I believe the engine
is good but may have iffy cooling.

Yes, the L plate is a 2.0 TCT base i trim spec - how's about that!?
I love the colour and it's the reason I got the car.

Sadly not at the moment, the red VSX was having some remedial surgery
required for an MOT attended to on it's front nearside footwell where the
whole outer skin has dissolved away as well as a pair of patches are needed
on the sill where some scumbag threw a brick at the screen - I've had to
park it off the road and SORN it whilst I plan my next move as it's going to
be expensive sorting it without MOT/insurance although I do have a spare screen.

The black Exclusive has a very unhelpful habit of shedding it's aux belt
at the most inopportune moment and is very unreliable as a consequence
despite a check out of pulleys and new correct length belt. Again, I'm really
awaiting the decent weather and perhaps more motivation to crack that one
although I'd like to get my KYAC (snapped off x2 wheels) normal towcar
2.0i TCT sorted first and if that's terminal the black Exclusive will HAVE
to get sorted. :X

Yep, the six spokes are the pukka Cit wheel and I've x3 sets on various cars.
Nicer than the TSW's and bobby minilite Exclusive one's.
