Handmade Car Themed furniture

Post by bespoke »

Not sure if this is in the correct section, but please move it if not.

You will see I’m new to the forum, but I’m trying to see if anyone is interested in my bespoke car themed furniture (web link below). As a complete car-nut I’m looking into the possibility of starting new business doing something I will enjoy, and that is producing hand-made bespoke pieces of car-furniture for other car enthusiasts. The website has pictures of the few examples I’ve already done, but I want to expand my portfolio. If you or you know someone who might be interested, please get in touch through the website. It doesn’t matter how large or small you may be thinking. The prices do depend on exactly what is involved but I will keep the prices as low as possible as I really need to build up my portfolio.

Please also feel free to let me have your feed-back.

Thanks,
Lee

Yes nice idea. Please consider Ron Arad - style car seats. Rich vein if ever there was one, I'm sure. What about an office chair based upon a Recaro? ?!

Thanks for the comments guys.

I had thought of the chair thing. It is something I would like to do. There was a company in the US selling Porsche etc stuff for thousands!

Ive often thought a car chair as an office chair would be nice, these things are so uncomfortable!

Old Espace seats work well.
A mate of mine had lost the foam of his computer chair, so we extracted one of the front seats when we went to the local scrappy (and when my friend got the message that leather interiors are sold whole, not per seat).
He bolted it to the remains of the chair and it did him well.
