Vince's opposition just showed me a new one: Website and checkout basket prices given clearly as inclusive of VAT, yet on the con note they're still the same price but stated as zero tax. I checked through the "paper trail" of emails and sure enough, they've covered their tracks pretty well.
On £230, that's 35 quid for them to hose up the wall, as purchasers outside the EU are supposed to not pay any VAT - they just took it as a nice little bonus. I couldn't use GSF as it wasn't parts they carry.
They haven't seen the last of this!
