Ok so i fainally got the spare time to take the boot apart and found afunny round piece of metal floating around to the left of the hatch.

very pleased with myself i shut the boot and finally realised what the noise was.... the rear spoiler is loose and the metal i found appears to be some kind of fitting for this. I cant see the fittings for the...

Loose wheel bolts can cause a clicking sound particularly when cornering slightly. Either way its good you found them and tightened them. :shock:

I could feel it wasn't quite as slippery as the LHM and I certainly won't be leaving it too long. Can't wait to get the new sphere on now, and see how good hydractive can be.

Something most likely will be shorting to ground, the fun part is locating what or where is shorting to ground.

What have you seen that causes such reticence?
I've seen a very high premature failure rate of recon starters & alternators over the last few years usually after just a couple of months, very recently even saw one fail the same day as it was fitted. This is from several different manufacturers & companies.

GSF used to stock the proper woven wire sealing ring in a kit with a multitude of various bolts , cups and washers,
same as the dealers version,

its the fiber version a lot of exhaust centers supply is the one to avoid, as it breaks up in a matter of weeks

You are correct, no substitute for experience! Campbell (messerschmittowner) had the rear spheres replaced last year, and the front ones look ok, but no idea on pressures. The whole system needs a good flush and a few miles with the flush, campbell did say the fluid was filthy.

Hopefully it just needs a good service and some love. Everything else...

Today I tried to spray some oil (anti seize) at the UJ. I didn't have the wheel off so the space was confined and I had poor visibility (no flash light or torch light handy). So I couldn't actually spot the joint and tried shooting the place up with the spray can hoping I'd eventually get the UJ in the process even though I wasn't...

Hi guys just a quick update about this Picasso I fixed for my neighbour.

The owner took the car in for its MOT and it failed on a snapped spring, this time on the drivers side so while it was in the garage he just told them to fix it, cost him £130 all in.

The trouble is that ever since he got the car back it has a clunking noise when turning...

Can actually only find reference to one of those air pumps in petrol Citroen engines. That's a stupid error code to display for a diesel.

Put on a Bosch Aero today. Seems fine with the washers. The smear in the centre has now gone and the new blade is smooth, but not tried in proper conditions yet. £20 ish from Halfords. The Halfords one was £19 + so not a lot in it pricewise.

Actually, the 19 wheels were put on my car by the original purchaser. 19 rims on the C5 X7 were an option when ordering a new car, so nothing to do with Citroen at all. It was entirely up to the customer which wheels size he (or she) selected from the available options. :wink:

Unlikely, as the body of the clip is plastic (and black, which makes it harder to see in dark places), and the spring part is not very large.

have you tryed the spare key just to rule out the transponder in the key another fault is the transponer inductive coil which fits around the inginition switch barrel i have known these to go open circuit check for continuity
