Bad News!!

Hi , just lost my beloved 1997TD, dashboard fire engulfed the beaty in just a few minutes! T he best car I have ever owned! great to work on too! wish I had a fire exstiguiser in the car! now looking for another, what a shame! :cry:

Ooops! not nice :cry:

had a Scimitar go up many moons ago, usual Weber fuel pipe trick of coming off, 3 people with Extinguishers failed to even halt the fire.
nothing left of car basically from rear drivers door forwards, Fibreglass, Oil & petrol don't half burn well :lol:
currently '06 C5 2.0 HDi auto estate Tip run and France trekker - well should be!! occupied currently by '10 Superb DSG 170 elegance- whistles and bells that work

Engine bay is fine! miracle! I guess, but scrap! shame! :evil:
