To give some background, the engine light came on and the car goes to limp mode. A garage spent alot of time (£1300) getting nowhere and replacing stuff. I then replaced the MAF, fixed a connection issue with the air manifold and changed, for the second time a new Fuel Rail pressure sensor as i keep getting P0193...

Hi all, Hope everyone is well. It has been a while since I posted! I own a 2002 C5 and a 2004 Berlingo and just bought myself a Lexia 3 diagnostics kit from Easy Diagnostics.

Before it arrives, I thought I’d ask if a guide to using Lexia exists. I’m very much a newbie at this but quite computer savvy, so I’m hoping to learn quickly and get to...

i had a new torbo fitted back around 6 months now and as i am going up hill the car seems to lack power or the turbo is taking time to kick in
it sounds like it is slow picking up any answers on the ,is there some thing i can do myself or will it need a garage to test the turbo

just wondered if anyone might have any insight on a wierd issue I'm having with my xantia HDI 110.

auxiliary belt came off due to broken tensioner pulley. That was repaired and car was driving perfectly for a couple days. Then was driving on and off throughout the day, went out in the evening and the car wouldn't start. RAC guy says codes were...

I just wondered if anyone could recommend a good OBD2 reader at up say £100 for use on my Wife's 2004 1.4 C3 and my Xsara Picasso 1.6hdi.

Got an EML light on on the C3 after a cold damp early morning start - the car went into limp mode but returned to normal albeit with the light still showing and the Picasso is showing a failed...

Issue with my clio.
Not driven for 2 days but was driving fine before

Did start Monday morning with loads of bleeps and Brake fault message on dash, but had to turn it off to nip inside.

Hi all, just helped my daughter get what we thought was a nice little car! Turns out there's a bit of a problem. So it's a 2006 Citroen C2, but is sometimes it starts fine, then others it turns over with loads of battery life but won't fire. It's going in the garage on Tuesday, I just wondered if anyone can give a few pointers please?

Hi there
I will post this here, because it relates specifically to the DS5, but I suppose it should also be in 'Diagnostics'
I’m trying to update my Diagbox so that it will read, and erase where possible, any faults found on my recently acquired 17 plate DS5 Prestige Auto. I currently have a Rev C full chip Actia clone with 4.3.7 firmware running...

Hi Guys,

Bit new here so hoping you can help me out because there seems to be a lack/conflicting information.

I drive a petrol 2011 Citroen DS3 DSport 1.6 THP 156 and driving home from work today I got an error code pop up, assumed it was the turbo warning since this popped up a couple of days ago so assumed not much to worry about. On the way...

Hi all,

Thinking of investing in this software as I have a Windows 10 laptop.

You can basically buy a licence for 30 euros. A licence covering a manufacturer.

Does anyone on here have it and if so, what’s your experience of it?

Thanks

I was wondering if it might be worth my while buying a copy of this service box from Jim at ED.

It says 3 CDs, which I doubt.
Not as bomb proof as now having to ask this forum to look up part nos. but that's a pain for all, especially for every silly thing.

One thing I've been meaning to ask as I have been using the Lexia a lot is this:-

When you erase fault codes it tells you that you have upto 50 reads of an ECU.

My after sales counter on the HDi is now on read 30.

What happens when I get to 50? Is it possible to reset it somehow?

PLEASE don't tell me it'll mean a complete uninstall and...

Could somebody please tell me which firmware version is needed for Diagbox v7.83. Will version 4.3.3 still be ok? Marc's post on the subject only goes up to v7.76. I have a new RevC kit and may have to flash it.
Thanks

Some of you may know I bought a Ford Focus estate as I couldn't find a 307 SW locally. Hi All,

My diagbox is not communicating properly with the car again.

It loads up and when I choose the correct model it finds the VIN but when I carry out a Globe test it states no dialogue.

It has been working previously but it's getting very frustrating.

Thoughts please,

I will be speaking to Jim at Easy Diagnostics tomorrow.

Kenny

Dear team,
Yesterday, I accidentally dropped my OBD scanner through the hole below the OBD scanner port. It landed near the gearbox lever which I can see. I tried to put my hand inside but I can't pass through. Please advise me what to remove to take it back?? I removed some of the parts from the gear panel. still, I'm not sure what else to...

This is a repeat topic as the original appears to have gone missing in the glitch over the weekend. I am hoping someone could turn off my tyre monitor for me as the car has had 2 sensors removed by the previous owner and the alarm is not only irritating but it may have the cry wolf effect and mask a real issue should one occur. I have pm'd some...

I am frantic to move an 806, outside my Easter host's address in Southampton.

There has been a chattering noise, isolated to a relay situated next to the EMU.

Local resources are unhelpful/unavailable on necessary time scales.

Suggestions include checking fuses and earth connections, and finding specialist advice on the EMU function.

I wonder...

My car is 2009 model Peugeot 308 petrol. It shows Depollution system faulty warning msgs sometime during the engine start and engine goes to limp mode along with Engine system light ON. What I do is, I use the OBD scanner and clear the faulty code and drive off the vehicle. Is there any problem in doing so??

Good evening all,

Just a quick question (hopefully).
I need to replace the brake fluid on my C4 Pic Exclusive 2014, is there any specific sequence/requirements/instruction or even tooling that is required to do this.

Many Thanks
Zane

Good evening.

My 2009 C5 X7 will not release the electric parking brake, bleeping and displaying various messages, 'anti roll back faulty' , 'Handbrake faulty', 'hand brake not applied' etc.

Does anyone have suggestions as to what to try next?
Thanks...
