Peugeot Service Box?

I was wondering if it might be worth my while buying a copy of this service box from Jim at ED.

It says 3 CDs, which I doubt.
Not as bomb proof as now having to ask this forum to look up part nos. but that's a pain for all, especially for every silly thing.
One of my daughters has just got hold of a very low mileage [40k] 307 1.6 2004- so well within the scope of Jim's offering.

I have something similar (but for Citroens) and it is three DVDs. The last one is full of wiring diagrams, and is the better part of 8GB. When I re-installed it recently that last DVD generated a warning that it could take 5 hours to install. I have found my software useful for part searches (although I have then sought confirmation on this forum).

Remember that that off line version is extremely out of date now and has not been updated for about 10 years, so won't have the latest replacement parts - but if you're not fussed about that then fine.

Thanks Marc. It's worth noting that even when I could get into PSA Service box I would often come up with out dated part nos.
So I think I will give it a whirl for a tenner!

The one Jim is selling is not 3 CDs it's a download, I bought it last week, Jim downloaded it through Team-viewer for me when I struggled a bit, it is the up to 2013 version.

I haven't gone right through the instalment procedure yet as I haven't been well so it's all on the computer waiting for me to get enthusiastic enough to finish it.

That will be a large download (if my copy of Citroen disks is anything to go by), up to 16GB (maybe more).

A confusing reply from ED. Quote-"Hello Anthony the Servicebox is 3 x Dual Layer DVDs. Unfortunately its only available for download."

So its 3x dual layer DVDs- or rather it isn't !?

I was rather hoping it could be run from CD-- save downloading and installing millions of files for vehicles I do not have

You may well get three ISO images to create the DVDs. That would make installation easier.

Not going at all well. First the supplied links had expired and did not work- AND THEN- I discover that Diagbox must be uninstalled before Service box is put on.
And that is not going to happen after all the ag. getting Diagbox to behave.
So it looks like I'm going to have to install on my mac desktop, running Win 7 Pro 64 with boot camp. But will Service box run on 64 bit?

I have Citroen service running on windows 10 64bit no problem its just seems to be the SEDRE wiring diagrams that wont run on it.
As far as the part numbers go if the part has been superseded by a new number when you go to Citroen to order it they will tell you you cant order it and its been superseded by xxxx.xx anyway.

Well in the end..... I coud not get anywhere with the ED download. But to be fair, and because there was no mention that I would have to uninstall Diagbox on my 32 bit laptop, and that was a no no, so I brought back to life an old 64 bit desktop with a quad 3.4 CPU. But this CPU clashed with every thing it met. 1 example attached.
So I went for an Ebay 1.99 special. It came bundled with VM Ware. This I loaded onto Win 7 64 bit running on boot camp on my Mac.
Surprise, surprise- it worked! Peugeot Sevice Box crawls about like software from the last century. The VIN search does not work.
Biut at least I am in with a chance of digging out part nos. and circuit diagrams.

It would appear that PSB is connecting to the internet. Why- and exacty who is it connecting to?
