Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

A dealer won't do it, period. This is because it means making modifications to the vehicle's systems that are not authorised and therefore can't do this to avoid comneback if threre was an accident of failure / damage / claim.

I'm keen to obtain the requisite kit to perform diagnostics on my C3 Picasso.

I got in touch with Jim at EasyDiagnostics and he tells me he's not supplying anything suitable currently as he's expecting a new system to be available early next year...

I'd really like something in place sooner and see there's still loads of Lexia/Diagbox kit...

Are the speed limiters factory set? If so Lexia/Diagbox may not be able to turn them off. Not 100% sure on the Expert/Partner but on the Boxer/Relay you can set the speed limiter function with Diagbox but once you set it it cant undo...

I connected the diagbox to a Citroen car. It found the VIN, I entered the code from the door, and then these errors appeared. What am I doing wrong? What do they mean?

Does anyone know if Easy diagnostics website has a problem?
Tried to look through google and again through the link on this forum, only to have my virus scan abort the connection owing to unspecified threats.

But my SMEG+ is locked as hell. When i try to automatic code, it does work properly, but when i want to manual telecode; to activate the rear camera, he gives a 202 error.

I got a 2015 Peugeot Partner electric vehicle that would not run or charge the Traction Battery.
When turning the key, i get Engine Fault.

- All fuses in engine compartment and under the dashboard has been checked.
- 12v battery is good.

Fault logs

My Laptop is an old Acer Media, XP Home, pack 3, Celeron 420 (1.6 Ghz) with 2Gb ram.

Should i be able to download the fault logs, as I can leave the laptop connected to the car for ages, over 20 minutes, and the fault logs do not load, just sits there on the 'waiting' screen? I have to end the session via alt/ctrl/delete.

Just stick to 7.62 Stu, that worked fine for me.
Get the best you can on your budget, but I would certainly look for 4Gb RAM as 2Gb is really going to creak at the seams. If going for an older system running Win 7 32 Bit these can utilise up to 3.5Gb RAM, on all 32 bit versions apart from the 'Starter' edition.

Hi all, newbie here. Great forum.
Right, now to give everyone a big headache!
2016 Berlingo L2 1.6Hdi.
DPF light started coming on, eventually went into limp mode. Stripped the exhaust down, thorough clean of cat and dpf with Wynns off-car cleaner. Dried them out completely. Got my Launch X431 Pro Elite diagnostic and reset the DPF soot values....

I'd run it loose / off first, but it seems likely it's no good. You won't necessarily get a code for external temp, but if the dash reading is blank it can stop the DPF regenning.

The ECU gets moved, or the fuse box is pulled to access lower fuses. The ECU security casing can incidentally touch the fuse box battery lead, or a stray battery fuse board.

As summary from earlier post, I was on holiday in the West of Scotland (1,900 miles trip in total).
I started my car, drove down steep incline, auto gearbox in 1st so as not to keep foot on brake all the time, then slipped box into drive, pulled onto main road, reached about 25mph and service light & Repair needed warning...

C5 2007 Power Steering Faulty

In a 2007 C5 Hdi 2.0 I have 'Power Steering Faulty' showing up with heavy steering, so I assume the pump isn't firing up. Lexia diagnostics tells me 'No Communication with ECU' with the electro pump ECU.

When I back-probe the com lines at the electro pump ECU I can see the signal below, so I don't know if perhaps I have a bad ECU or if the BSI is...

BSI Reset, Peugeot Expert. I've read the Sticky post by Marc, but my battery is in the footwell, driver side.

I'm trying to diagnose a rear door (Tailgate) locking issue. I think it's mechanical problem, but I can't figure it out so wondering if a BSI reset might cure it?

Any idea how to do it when the battery is inside the cabin?

This is a silly question because I've done a silly thing. I did a 2 hour round trip to buy a set of wiper motors for my X7 C5, the guy let me test them on the car, they didn't work so I left them. Now I'm realising I had the motors on the wrong side, now the guy is a 3hr return trip away.

It's because one of the motors contains the master ECU (Right) and the other contains the slave ECU. So these have to be connected correctly as they are multiplexed wipers, otherwise they will not communicate over the network.
