Diminishing diagnostics
Hi new to the forum, I have a problem with my 2011 c4 Picasso 1.6hdi. I had the service light come on with the warning of potential clogging of DPF wether it’s just coincidence this seemed to occur after the fuel level had got very low? Anyway I ended up replacing the eolys tank/pump and have been using an Autel diag m/c, when trying to reset additive level etc I’m unable to access much, when I first got the car (5months ago) I did a global scan which picked up engine abs etc but now I can only access the engine ecu and it now will not give me live data. Anyone shed some light on this? Please.

Re: Diminishing diagnostics
I think you'll need to refer back to your diagnostic supplier, as it clearly has developed some issues. It won't be the vehicle, but likely your diagnostic tool or it's connectivity.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Re: Diminishing diagnostics
Thanks for the reply, this has done the same on two different autel machines (my own) and my company’s one which has no other issues with any other cars
, I will get hold of a Lexia diag and see what happens

Re: Diminishing diagnostics
DIAGBOX 7.57 or 7.62 should preferably be installed as diagnostic software for a 2011 vehicle.
Other diagnostic systems are rarely suitable.

Re: Diminishing diagnostics
Try this, when the car pops up the warning light , open the fuel filler cap let the vacum out & with my car fault goes . If your dpf has the top o2 sensor 22,mm undo remove and spray a full can of dpf cleaner which has a long tube to get right to the bottom and work uowards till can is empty. Start car go for 30min run at a nice 50mph or a bit more , this should clean dpf. With the sensor out clean that too.K-dog wrote: 21 Jan 2024, 19:23 Hi new to the forum, I have a problem with my 2011 c4 Picasso 1.6hdi.
