I gave up and bought a Bluetooth AUX device, connects instantly.

I looked up what 'IVI telematics system' is, and found below DS website. Seems like my software/firmware version is quite old (v1.23). Latest listed on line is v1.30 (earliest v1.19).

Hi

I think you're misunderstanding the system and the terms (easy to do, I know). I'll need your VIN to double check the system you have, but the WiFi functionality is only for allowing you to create a hotspot around the vehicle for passengers to connect to. So the WiFi from your Smartphone is used to connect to the vehicle, and in turn, the...

There is no later update, 67.02.24.22 is the last update (March 2020)

No, I replaced the radio head unit and the Bluetooth unit and problem still exists. I just don’t bother any more. Fed up with the bloody thing.

For your vehicle you'll need V9.** of Diagbox for this year and a full-chip kit.

I've sent you a Private Message.

Many European vehicles don't have the full alarm systems fitted. 'Radio' can mean different things and not what you may think. Often it's a reference to a basic non-telematic based system, so could be perfectly normal for your vehicle. It's probably saying it can't detect them which is fine if they're not there.

You can’t ‘format’ firmware.

The last time you actually updated the firmware, it’s possible that this may have written the updated files to different areas of the flash storage, but if the flash storage is out of good memory cells to write to you may be experiencing the same sorts of issues.

The cells only have a number of write cycles before...

You will loose access to any vehicle configuration that you used via the RT5 controls and any trip computer info that was displayed / temperature / climate settings / display - Obviously I can't tell you what it anything an aftermarket kit will provide as these differ considerably.

As your colour display (which you will lose too) is mounted on...

Thank you Marc, much appreciated

Are you having any problems that you think might need the firmware updating to fix?

The trouble is your car audio is quite ancient.

The RD45 is for later vehicles and isn't compatible with your vehicle as it stands, as the RD45 along with the requisite screen is totally different, containing options to configure the vehicle - the electrical architecture may also be different and the screen needed for it won't be compatible...

Right, that's actually SMEG+ IV2, a slightly improved version of SMEG+. I've looked and there's a later version, 6.4.10, out although I haven't yet located a source.

You need to think about updating though. There's a warning:

...I went from 6.1.20 straight to 6.4.10 and it worked fine.
You'll probably need calibration at the dealer. If not for...

If you find that you have the amplifier can, you can bypass it and connect the antenna directly to the coax cable.

Hi,

I've got this little stubby metal cylinder at the base of the aerial. This pic is from a video but it's like mine. Mine has white corrosion on it. How does it work? Would a cleanup (contact cleaner etc.) help?

I can't see...

What system do you have fitted? If you're not sure pop your VIN up. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

I suggest you contact the seller, as we don't support aftermarket head units here.

hi did you find any newer firmware / software please

How do you upgrade the firmware? I have the same problem on a 2016 DS3

Great news, managed to enable carplay, after bought token from psa and installing diagbox. Was wondering that my cable might be blacklisted, but apparenty not. After connecting and playing with functions buttons on screen has gone, and now put in order, however they do nothing. At least carplay works happy days.

How did you enable CarPlay? What...

I don't want multiple connections. I just want Bluetooth, however Bluetooth becomes disabled and greyed out when I plug in my cable.

Just for clarity: this was with an unbutchered cable. Butchering the cable was my solution, and it works extremely well. I just wish I hadn't had to butcher a cable.

After experimentation, it turns out the phone...

@skragamuffin:

You have several options and I'm not sure you really need 'Jukebox' function now:

1) You can copy MP3 music files rom a PC to a USB memory stick (Formatted to FAT32 standard) and insert this into the USB port in the vehicle. The system will generate a playlist from the contents (may take a few minutes depending on the number of...

No, not supported, sorry.

Sorry to revive an old thread - but any idea what wiring harness they fitted to get it to work? I have the same anyway unit I'm looking to upgrade to a double din, however I cannot get it to power up using the wiring harness I bought

Thanks!

I'll call up my local dealership.

You haven't told us which system you have. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

I have a 2014 Jumpy and I'm planning to replace the radio by a 2 inch model. I've removed the old radio and no problems seem to occur.
I've tested my new radio 'double inch) which seems to work fine. Due to a power issue at this moment I've removed it again until this problem has been sorted out.

I do realize I might miss some functionality at...

@vboyz

Check your private messages.

If you need to check your owner's manual and don't have a copy, download a PDF using this guide:

Owner's Manuals

Follow the instructions and then when you come to select the model year range, you need the date period of 01/04/2015 - 26/04/2016 to get the correct version for the build date of your C1.

... and no butchering of the car too, a good result - sometimes a bit of patience can pay off, well done.

I have update maps with the latest one and now I strugling with this same problem please insert navigation CD . Have any one have idea how to solve it?

The radios are VIN coded to the vehicle and you will get degraded performance unit the unit is coded using Lexia / Diagbox.

Have a look at our list of members who have offered Lexia / Peugeot Planet 2000 / Diagbox Diagnostics help if you haven't already seen it - link below:

At the end of the list is a link to a Google Map, showing the...

No worries, but for future reference we offer a parts service to donating members, which would of ensured you sourced the correct part for your vehicle.

Details here:

It's by design to reduce the internal amplifier output to reduce the heat inside the unit as you've now found out. It's going to be more of an issue in the winter months when you have the heating on much higher, where there is little to no cooler air inside the dash console so the unit heats up a lot more quickly internally. It's not so much an...

Thank you! Will definitely take a look

Bonjour, sur ma Citroën c4 picasso 2014 la radio ne stocke pas de musique, je n'ai pas accès au Jukebox, les dossiers dans la navigation ne fonctionnent plus, il n'y a pas de satellites visibles. Logiciel SMEG5. 2.A.A.R9. NIV : VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. La carte dans la boîte est KINGSTON 16 Go. S'il vous plaît, aidez-moi, j'ai probablement besoin d'une...

Can someone please help me wtih my radio update as ive got the DAB button but it doesnt work.....does mine actually have DAB or not?? Have tried to update it but dont think I'm doing it right?
It's a 2015 Boxer.

Ok so you have the early version of the 'Analogue Connected Navigation' system. It's likely that the internal memory has failed.

Also, be aware that this vehicle has 3 outstanding after-sales campaigns on it! They are concerning the timing belt face parts to prevent premature failure and the other one is to do with the catalytic converter.

I...

We don't support aftermarket Head Units or screens, only original equipment, which this isn't. I suggest you talk to the makers of your unit, but expect issues if you are using aftermarket parts or firmware.

Yes firmware updates are done via USB. We don't supply them here, but you can google it or purchase from the dealer for a nominal fee.

Yes, thank you.
Too close this out - cloned 3 partitions (in my case). For linux users (1) Disks & (2) GParted to tidy up.
For disassembly read ' & will add that the CD player must be removed for cable access. My thermal paste was more like cement & used a heat gun at sites (finger hot) to remove & again for reassembly. I like also cut a slot with...

The screens are specific - but to be honest there could now be many reasons why it's not working and may not even been the screen. Also, disconnecting and connecting the old head unit with the screen must be done in the correct order, otherwise it can destroy the display (Battery disconnected first, then Quadlock from rear of head unit, then other...

May be the aerial base - water ingress is the usual culprit.

These vehicles do integrate their Head Units into the vehicle's systems.

Expect to lose some functionality and control, depending on what you fit, especially parking assistance and other vehicle options controlled via the Head Unit.

We don't support aftermarket units here - you'll need to contact the supplier and ensure it is compatible and what, if any additional harnesses you will have to purchase to connect to your existing Head Unit.

I was referring to speed limits / zones as part of the danger areas, not the actual vehicle speed. On some systems danger zones are enabled via the POI selection menu as to whether these are turned on or not.

You won't have speed sign recognition on this vehicle I suspect.

Hi all
Been trying to find somewhere, a dealer, that will update my touchscreen on my 2015 DS3 so I can use apllplay & mirrorlink - they are there but it says needs a dealer and I can't find one that will do it! Does anyone have any recommendations as I am really struggling!
Thanks
